you could put it in line on your camelback or similar system and just dunk your camelback for more water storage. or put it between two platypus or similar large storage bags to make an overnight...

before you buy these get measured, not to throw a wet blanket on your post, but the five fingers measurements are a lot more exact than 11.5 mens.

I have the million gallon version i use when kayaking. If you know where the water sources are on your hikes or are planning a camp near a good source it's a permanent water supply. free bump.

look like the GT tarp is grommeted too. Is the texsport (walmart) tarp like the cheap blue ones? plasticy and rigid and (why did i type expensive?) heavy.

+1 for the foot pad. Plus you can put it against your back in your pack to firm it up and add padding.

I finally got my hammock out for an over night trip, in fact two nights, at Locust Lake in PA. I found it a bit fiddly to set up, but was pleased with the result, at least for the first night.
