Sounds like an awesome trip.
I'll vote for that. At least then I know what my tax money is going towards
Alright, I'm going to try and be there around noon or so then, for that trip, might as well make a day of it.
Going to meet up at the trail head, I'm guessing.
What time is everyone planning on being there by? I wont be able to stay, but figure this would be a good time to come check out some setups and get to meet some people. Give the dog a chance to...
I'm curious about that warning label: check periodically during use? And don't forget to check the building for strength and sturdiness...
Wonder what building collapsed on someone during...

Have you ever been lost at midnight? Thanks for the welcome. Should be WTM...wacky town mom [/QUOTE]
Yep, but last time was in Canada/Washington when my gps refused to get signal

bacon? bacon? (apparently just bacon isn't enough)
Cool and thanks Brian. It'll be a while before I actually figure out what I'm going to purchase and get it due to financial constraints. But the hoss has the weight and size factors that I'm...

Well this just proves even animals approve of hammocks over tents. Well at least this bear does.
Howdy from Kentucky
Hello from Kentucky
Hello from across the river.
WTG = Way to Go
guess could also mean: Wacky Town Girls/Guys :)
Still asking for 75$ for the Izula? Or did you drop the price on it?
Definitely something to add to my list of potential hammocks. Does the Hoss come in different colors?
Water resistant to keep you safe and dry...? What about water that falls down? Wouldn't that just create a hammock sized pool :)
Brings up the question of what would be worse in that situation: someone with bad gas or someone who snored loudly?
Either way think I'm sleeping outside with the bugs :)
This sounds like a good time, might have to figure out where to get gas money from to do it.
Anyone up for carpooling? :D I can sleep on the ground for a trip like that, lol
I'd say ask for permission, and if denied ask why and then try to de-validate their reasoning by showing the errors of their thoughts.
Just hope that they are open to learning and thinking and not...
trampoline bottom...... :D
I can see so much going wrong with that setup but then thats what happens when it has a trampoline built in :D
I wonder if the Redwood Forests allow hammock tents...
Alright I'm game, although being this close to Cincy wasn't sure if I shouldnt just put Ohio instead lol
Soon as you make that let me know, I'm in the market for instant fat remover also
I'm close by but dont have one. Reason for all the views but little in response is probably cause you guys already hit every idea up. Other than lighting a couple fires and sleeping between them...
Does it come with all its shots and medical history? :D
Need to slap a sticker on the hammock now: Adult tested, baby approved
Correction still got an excuse: $5535.73 :)
Well that and I'm not big into Grizzly bears :D
Sounds like it was a good time. I'll have to save up some gas money and get out that way sometime.
Cool, I'll definitely keep a look out for that trip.
Sounds like fun to me. Although I'd rather not be out if a tornado runs through :shades:
Cool, it's a bit too far for me to go though. Was hoping to catch something closer to Cincy/N.KY so I can check out some gear and see some setups. But good to hear about dogs, can't see leaving my...
What a savings, think I'll take 2, lol
Well that makes sense.
Still a bad way to go.
Alright, cool and thanks guys. Now to get gear at least ready for fishing
Alright, heres a question I haven't had much luck with finding an answer to yet:
Permithrin in any form dangerous to cats, or just in liquid form?
Or is there a safer and just as effective...
Alright, so that's what a widowmaker is. Surprised it isn't called a trip-ender or hammock tenderizer, though.
Hey Junkie and hi from North Kentucky
hello all, and nah rigid, haven't been to Mackeys yet, even though I live just down the road from it.
Still haven't got done there yet, got a friend who wants to go this summer though. Might give it a try.
Grand Canyon, been there, want to go back. Might not leave this time though. lol
This sounds like a fun trip. Pondering if I can actually go or not though.
And howdy to everyone whose said hello already
Smash, what day were you planning on doing that? And yea Mammoth caves are a bit of a trip just to go down look around and head back north.
Just wondering if this is still being planned out and what date it's possibly going to be? Probably wouldn't be able to stay the night, but would like to get out and check out some of the hammock...
Sounds like an idea there, was actually looking at the trips section to see if anything was being planned. Definitely would like to see some setups while I try to figure out what to buy.
Midnightlost, switch it around a bit, add an at, and get lost at midnight. Although, it usually happens sooner lol.
I'm never lost, I just can't be bothered remembering where the map is.
Friend turned me onto the idea of hammocks, been a tent camper my whole life, but can't figure out how to easily pack a cot when not car camping. Figure this might be a good choice, still haven't...
