Ummm....I thought I did. It was in the first post. See above. If you require that I say that I am firm on price then I guess then I can reword my post. I thought everyone was allowed to take offers...
Got it. Will ship as soon as I can. Thank You!
I have an offer for $135. I was really hoping to get $145. It takes $180 to buy this new. And this is new: never used or hung at all.
The Snipe is sold. Thank you.
Accepting offers
it is the 144" ridgeline and yes it has pull outs. I've also included line tensioners on most of the lines and there are a few small figure nines in there as well.

Ya. I'd say hang too. Especially if you're not used to it. Of course there's always a bridge.
I must have missed that orginal thread but thanks for brining it up. Great idea.
looks great man. I'm a DIYer but I don't think I could have done that one. Great job.
ditto. I'm going to make a habbit of stopping by from now on.
pretty nice!! now you can start making them for all of us. :0
:lol::D Maybe there wasn't a sign.
My wife did the same thing. Go figure.
That's a good price on the Kelty for sure.
Old Man Winter gets my vote. Kelty Noah 12x12 get my second vote as a cheaper option. I've got both for sale.
I just used a local sewing shop to shop for the pea pod style cost me like $20 bucks, Best money I ever spent. (nice lady too)
Be sure to let us know what you find out.

All good info on this thread though. Thanks everyone. Mine's in the dryer as we speak now.
Is there somewhere you guys find micro or mini line-locs locally or do you have to order them? I'm kinda leaving on a trip and don't have time to order anything.
Thanks
How do I know if I damaged my synthetic bag because I left it compressed for too long?
I just found an old down vest that I never wear. How much can I compress it safetly? and for how long can I...
well....as a mason. I"m sure I know a bit about mason's line. There are several kinds but the "good" braided line might be worth trying. I've got some around the shop somewhere. I usually just use...
This is what I bought to use but now it seems a bit thick now that I've seen the other stuff.
Ok. Well. He said he uses Zing it. Can I get that or something like that locally? You know....like at JoeAnne Fabrics, Gander Mountain, Dicks, etc....
My current setup uses a tensioner attached to...
Got a new tarp and I need some line for the tie downs. Is there anything I can pick up that's local?
Also what do you use for attaching the line to the stake to make it adjustable?
thanks
just a quick shout out. I was told when I ordered mine that it would be at least ten days. It was like 3 days later that a package showed on the door step. Delivered early! What a great suprise....
I was in the same boat just a week ago. I've since made my own single layer, channel end out of Joanne Fabrics ripstop, and I've purchased the WL Snipe and BIAS Camper. I wanted to see for myself...
Just wondering if anyone has any additional information about the quality and overall performance of tarps in general. Someone pointed me toward the Winter Dream from Undergroundquilts.com and it...
Well, funny you should mention, because as of tomorrow morning, I'll be ordering the Old Man Winter tarp from WL if I can't figure anything else out.
I saw this tarp but don't know anything about...
I'm in need of a big tarp. 11'ridge is a minimum. anyone have anything let me know.
Thanks for the tip. The tarps there look very nice. One of the few places that had quality pictures to show how the tarp is sewn.
I just tried it in my DIY hammock running it through a couple rings and it slipped. To combat the slippage; I just put a quick half hitch with the slack line and all was well.

Yup the two of them were having a ton of fun. :)
In less than a week on this forum, I made my first hammock, my first frankenquilt, my first tarp and bought two more vendor hammocks. This is addicting.
Here's a pic of my sleeping bag...
I forgot to say that I have a kelty on order but it's backordered. Even the Rei kelty is on backorder. If someone knows where to get one, I'd just get that but I need it "in stock".
Oh and somehow...
I"m looking to purchase two tarps for some cold weather. It would be nice if the ends would close down like doors. I know of the following.

Ya, I saw the sun shade thing too, but then there was another leaky review.....dun dun dun.....:scared:
Like I said, I'm not too worried about it now. If others here have had positive experiences...
I admit that I wasn't all that thrilled to see more than one review somewhere that said it leaked badly but if you say it's good to go then all in. ;)
I too am an archery hunter and I was in the same boat as you just 3 days ago when I joined this site. I've never even been in a hammock until today when I made one out of ripstop from Joanne fabrics....
