I need hammocks for each of my 9 year old boys. Rather than buy two new scouts, I'd like to buy from someone here.
Thanks,
Steve
alright, so I did a lot of tinkering and made significant progress in comfort.
First, I reduced the hang angle. The final measurement (using my phone) is about 23 degrees. Next, I have an REI XL...
A few things I'm going to try this weekend
1. lowering the head end
2. decreasing the hang angle
3. I order a 3.5" camping pad. I'll try it semi-inflated to see if that helps
4. making sure my...
Hi everyone,
Today I received my Ridgerunner that I purchased from a forum member. Of course, I immediately hung it in my backyard stand and took a few moments to lay in it. The flat lay is really...
It's just chainlink fence top rail, 2 sections, cut to 14' total. I put some wooden dowels in the ends to prevent any chance of crushing.
Thank you. Regarding the pods, do a quick search for "hanging pod chair for kids". My wife got one for our kids and I needed a way to hang it. I found these
My wife found these hanging pod stands on sale for $57 each. Not quite as economical as the turtle dog stand, but super stable and durable. I used the D-style bolt and shackle to hang the chain link...
i'll take it.
hoping someone has this.... bump
PM sent on package #2
bump. still interested
I'd like a double layer RR with bugnet. Suspension / no suspension is fine. Thanks!
+1 who wants this.
Found this item on sale for $52.50. 2 of these and a ridgepole could make a nice permanent outdoor stand. It's somewhat heavy, but breaks down small enough to fit in your trunk. Could be a nice...
I tried this and it helped some, but given I have a WBB XLC and 13.5 ft ridge pole, there isn't a ton of adjust ability in the suspension. I will play with it though
I thought about that, but it's going to be very difficult to get a tight ridge line when the anchor is above the pole. Am I missing something?
What a great thread!
Question for everyone. The WBBB XLC is more comfortable for me when I hang the foot end about 12" higher than the head end. I'm looking for ideas how to make this work on...
will do, thanks George. =)
Hi everyone,
I have a 20° ghost pepper that if I'd love to over stuff, rather than buy and have 2 bags. Is this even doable / worthwhile?
Thanks!
purchase complete. Thank you
I'll take it. Please pm me paypal details.
Going to do some mountain camping in the Cascades and it rains... alot. I don't care if it the items are silpoly or silnylon. Would like the doors to be brown to match my mamajamba, but don't really...
I'll take the ghost pepper top quilt.
does the reaper come with a stuff / storage sack?
bump. still looking
bumping this up. still want it
I'm super happy with the wookie / blackbird combo, and want to stick with warbonnet all the way. If there is a better TQ option, I'm willing to consider.
Thanks

super cool. hope this is something he or some other small business manufactures.
Thank you for looking out for a noob! Funds have been sent via paypal to the address in your private message.

Steve

Hi All, thanks for your expertise on this.
I am buying my first hammock from someone on this forum who is selling it complete with a wookie xl and a 10x10 OES tarp. I was looking at the Thunderfly...
