You sir are a genius! Now I am going to have to add more stuff to my next order.
Both of them literally define customer service. They were very patient with my endless questions and make you a part of the process. On my tarp I just ordered he had me send the poles to him so he...
Welcome from NM! Get ready to have your wallet emptied.
That looks like paradise. Definitely on the to do list.
Great pictures! I love hanging in the snow.
I was at a 24 hour mountain bike race and a team from CO had brought hammocks to nap in between laps. They invited me to try it and I was amazed at how comfortable it was. I looked over at my 6 man...
I don't have the skills to turn it into an uq. However, I have used it as a tq down to the upper 30's. They are the perfect summer weight for me.
That is one great looking tarp. I really like the camo.
Just when I thought I had purchased my last hammock this comes along!
I also have the 12' version. Got to use it this weekend when a cold front rolled through bringing 30+ mph sustained winds and a 42 degree temp drop. Stayed nice and warm while the wind tried in vain...
I never win anything. But happy Saint Patrick's Day to all!
Here you go
Welcome from NM! My family is from Winston Salem and the surrounding area. Miss all those trees in NC.
Sold a like new WBBB 1.7 purchased in Sept 11. The only use has been two test hangs on my porch.
It is completely stock with adjustable webbing suspension.
Asking $150 shipped USPS lower 48....
Enter me please!
I ordered mine today and I am 4 weeks down!
If you can't find a 1.1 for sale I have a like new 1.7 double. I did two test hangs on my porch and it has never been slept in.
I am definitely going to be ordering this tarp in the near future. The money drain just never seems to end with hammock gear.
Welcome from NM. I was raised in NC and miss the trees.
The WL LT owl has been the best for me in my limited experience. I did several test hangs with the WBBB and it just wasn't for me. Plan on selling the BB and have ordered a Dangerbird.
I love my 2QZQ underquilt protector. I have the breathable version and it does a great job of keeping drafts off of the insulation.
They are a great company and deserve their own forum.
Hammock Gear does some mighty fine work. I got a custom 3 season that I love and will be adding a 40 degree soon.
I keep my 45 in the 2QzQ peak bag. Started taking it because the dry weather has caused more negative bear encounters. Just say no to bear burritos.
Welcome from MN! I have always wanted to visit Australia, look forward to some pictures of your adventures.
That is a great idea! You need to sell those.
I love my WL Night Owl. However, what I was most impressed with was the Marty and their customer service. I don't know to many companies that would call you to help with questions about a product...
Welcome from NM! If you are like me you will suddenly find yourself spending a lot more money than you thought possible.
Welcome from NM!
That is a great idea! Best of luck to you.
I would be interested also. Currently, I am doing 12/24 hour races but the bikepacking thing is on my list to do.
I was fast asleep on my porch trying out my new Night Owl when the lag bolt on the head end came out. Dropping head first on concrete will wake you in a hurry!
Welcome from NM. You will enjoy Mountain Home.
That is a great idea!
Ah those temps make me miss Alaska! Really like your set up around the fire. Never seen anything like that.
Looking forward to my first group hang it looked fun.
Eastern part in Clovis which is basically a suburb of West Texas. But most of my real hanging is done around Angel Fire
I have been lurking in the background for a while now trying to soak in all the great knowledge found here. What I have determined is this hammock thing is like a disease! Every time I log on there...
I found out the hard way that I sleep hot. Went on my first winter hang and the temps were forecasted to be in the low 30's. As a result, I felt confident in my 20 deg UQ and TP. The low that night...
There wasn't quite enough light output for me to to read with my Kindle. I had to use a LED headlight. However, as I have gotten older the eyes aren't what they used to be!
Love the light though.
