You can adjust the spread however you need. I fit a ridge runner and an 11 got Dutch Argon on it no problem. It all depends on what length board you use on the arms. Mine are are feet.

And I use my Ridgerunner on it
I have the same problem as to in the northern burbs. I have this in my backyard.
I use the Big Agnes Sand Mountain and am quite comfortable and you can pick them up around $50.
That was very Felini-esque.
Ended up getting the stingerz.
Thanks for the heads up. I will own one some day soon.
No Ridge Creek love?
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
I'm looking at the North Country trail through Manistee. Around Leaf Lake. Should be able to do some dispersed camping.
Great advice. Thanks. Doesn't have to be a loop but we want to hike in for sure. Thinking Kettle Moraine. Kid is ready to move on from car camping but want to make an either transition.
No one ever been to WI or MI?
Looking for something 3-4 hours from the northern suburbs of Chicago. One night. 2-3 miles in or a 5-6 mile loop. Prefer to camp by a creek or water source. It's me and a 9 year old so nothing too...
That RR/Gathered end bunk bed is the same set up I want to use with my daughter this summer on her first backpacking trip. Looks good!
That was fast. A big shout out and thanks to you! I really love this place. :boggle:
Thanks Dutch. Looks like I may have found a source but I am gonna to place and order for some of the nice biners of yours.
Just 2. I would really appreciate it. Let me know what you need. I have some arm and hand injuries and not sure I can fiddle with splicing right now. Fine motor skills are a little difficult.
That was my plan. I got for worried for a second that I was crazy. That's for keeping me sane.
Are there any vendors out there that sell 6 inch zing it continuous loops in 1.75.? This would be for use as prussiks on a tarp ridgeline.
I'll take the superfly
Good luck, I sent him an inquiry about a purchase bt never heard back. I guess he doesn't want my money. Was gonna try to spread the wealth but it looks like it's back to Warbonnett I go.
I struggled with a gathered end for some time. Tried the pillow. Mini spreader bar. Large carabiner in the channel. Different angles. Sleeping pad in the hammock. I could not get rid of the calf...
I'm in thanks
Any pics out there of attachment/suspension for quilts on a bridge hammock?
Anyone made an underquilt for a ridgerunner using climashield? I did a search and didn't see anything. The wife is interested in making one for me but I need to get some more info on construction....
I'll throw my hat in the ring
Just sent my payment in. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive
Thanks! Just emailed him.
I have a 12 foot tarp so no worries. Another problem is my eno net. Which is why I'm considering an integrated net.
That's what I'm worried about. Am also considering an 11 foot gathered end.
But an asym cut will make laying on a diagonal easier right?
That's what I was worried about. Is this with an asym hammock?
Anyone over 6 feet tall using a ten foot hammock? Does asym make a difference for taller folks on a ten foot vs an eleven foot?
Thanks for the help. If I don't find a used one in the next day or two I'm going to pull the trigger on something new.
My wife is about to strangle me. She wants to get me a new hammock and I can't decide which one or how much to spend. :scared:
Anyone know what the max user height is for the Lawson Blue Ridge hammock? Found a good deal on one. I am 6 foot 3 inches.
Testing the waters before pulling the trigger on a new one. What's the going rate for a used Ridgerunner? Any available?
I was able to find one from Warbonnet that was a blemish.
At least once more than normal. Sometimes twice. I got one of those plastic hospital "urinals" but haven't tried it yet.
I'm in..........
We ended up at a dispersed site on Himley Lake. Let's just say it had lots of local flavor. Probably wont hit that one again.
I'm just looking for something out of the way about a 5 hour drive from the Illinois/Wisconsin border. Something fairly remote but accessible by Jeep. I'm open to suggestions outside of this area.
No recommendations on this place at all? Must not be too exciting.
Looking to head up here in about two weeks. Any advice on dispersed campsites? Particularly looking at Ludington Lake, Range Line Lake or Deer Lake. Need some good trees to hang from and some nice...
Ill be in BSF that week.
It should but its not very good quality and I bought some para cord for for $5 and ran it through the holes instead of haing it clip on.
Gonna try to book that one. Thanks again. We will give the rangers a heads up.
Thanks for the reply. How were the trees at that site?
Chain O Lakes state park would be close to the train. Illinois state beach is another option. Indiana Dunes on the east side. Not sure what is open.
Anyone know if this place is hammock friendly. How are the group sites? Will the hold at least 3 hammocks and a few tents? Any help is appreciated.
I love buffs?
