Many pillows available. Some are inflatable, and pack down to nothing. The best ones are covered on one side or both sides with fleece or some other fabric that won't stick to your face. The most...
Let's see some pics!
Howdy, Girl
from west Tx.
That is my biggest gripe about living in West Texas - no trees. And my biggest reason for moving some place where there are trees.

I bought one of her summer UQs. It was great, and worth the wait. Relax, it'll be there.

Welcome, Arizona
Hi - I'd like to get the TerraLux Lightstar 100 flashlight, if still available.
thanks,
Sky
Welcome, Texas. Amsteel works for me. Hope you can make it to the Texas Fall Hang at Fairfield State Park next November.

I've sometimes fantasized about a device with a battery powered motor running in sync with the sway of my hammock, an axle and wheel on the side, staked to the ground and attached by a length of...
Omega Pacific rings are much more reliable. I've tried both.

I got one of Sodakgrrl's down pillows, had a chance to sleep out with it this weekend. It's great, very comfortable, lightweight and packs down very small. Thanks Sodakgrrl - I admire your design and...
1 XXL Black please
I'm a guitar player - have a small Tacoma acoustic guitar that's lightweight but kinda bulky. I take it mostly when car camping. Also have an Ocarina that's easy to carry but I need more practice. I...
I made the RayWay top quilt - works great and includes everything you need.

I like the Stingerz from DutchWare to use with 1.75 Zing-It.
Sky
I'm very happy for you - thanks for sharing.
Welcome Ft. Worth from West Tx.. Not many trees out this-a-way, more's the pity. If you could claim Louisiana perhaps I could garner New Mexico. Then we could trade once or twice a year.

SodaKGrrl looks good, I'd like to try one - is this something we'll be able to purchase at some point? If not maybe one of the hammock/quilt maker guys will pick up on it and incorporate it into...
I have two Black Birds - ya can't go wrong with a Black Bird.

Hi, I live in W. Tx. but am a New Mexican at heart. Rio Chama is a favorite spot of mine for hiking/camping.

Welcome, Haven from Big Spring Texas. Have fun!

Very generous - thanks.

the door seems to preclude sitting up with legs over the side.

I'm headed to Lost Maples next week, December 11. I might try to make it again in January. Would love to see everybody.

Thanks Rylake - I did order some of those forged rings just now. Will report here as to their strength/bendability
Sky
Thanks! for your help Grizz, GMC and CMI. My rings came from REI and their website says they are 11 grams, SMC. (http://www.rei.com/product/471123/smc-descending-ring)
I weigh about 230, plus more...
Earlier this year I got a Traveller from Warbonnet. I'm using amsteel single line suspension with descending rings/clove hitch and I love the flexibility and simplicity. The problem is I noticed my...
Please let us know how that works out for you.
Thanks,

I haven't read this, but found it at Amazon - could be helpful.

The Necchi is a terrific machine. I don't use mine a lot but it always works for me.
Sky
That's my question too!
Funds are on the way.
Thanks,
Sky
I'll take it. PM sent.

Mine's not strictly ultralight but I've got the whole pack down to less than 20 pounds.

Please withdraw my bid for the ENO hammock. Thanks

Don't forget the "For Sale" forum here on Hammock Forums. People selling their used stuff all the time. I'd done some trading here and never had a bad experience. Equipment has always been in good,...
I'm definitely in for the ENO doublenest. Please send payment info.
Thanks,
Sky
Hi, I'll take the ENO Double Nest, depending on the color. Please send color and payment info to

Hey, I'm looking for some Evernew water bladders - 3 or 4 in any size. Used is ok. Everybody's sold out!
Sky
Everything is now spoken for, and paid for (almost). Many thanks to everybody who made a purchase. I hope you enjoy the items.

I have a few things that I'd intended to take to the Texas Hang in Fairfield this past weekend for sale or trade, but at the last minute decided not to go. I'd trade for one or more Evernew water...
P.S. I also have a hex tarp made of cuben, with doors, about 7.8 oz. The only problem I'd note it is that it's not quite as stable in high winds as a tarp made of silnylon.
I'll report here after...
Mr. Country Roads, I did exchange email with Brandon at Warbonnet about his Asym tarp. He'd dropped it from his line for lack of interest. Matt at ZPacks has already shipped mine, so I'm anticipating...
Well I answered my own question - found one at zpacks.com that weighs 4.3 oz.. I bet it stuffs down pretty good too. My MacCat Deluxe weighs 13.9 oz. - a small difference of 9.6 oz. but it adds up. ...
Does anybody make an Asym Diamond shaped tarp out of Cuben or Spinn fabric? What does it weigh? What's your opinion of diamond vs. hex shaped, coverage wise? Can you get the coverage you need 95% of...
Caddo is about as far away from me as you can get and still be in Texas. I've never been there so might consider it, especially since I missed Fairfield this weekend. Did you have any strummers?
...
I'm sorry but I won't be able to attend this weekend. My health has taken a turn for the worse all of a sudden. Too bad, as I was looking forward to seeing everybody and making some music. I hope...
I'd recommend taking your Necchi machine to a qualified repair/service shop for cleaning and lubing. They could also advise you regarding the motor issue.
