OK, I'm heading out tonight to try everything out. Current set up is an el cheapo tarp, staked out on four corners, 11' hyper d hammock, 0*bag, and me. I will check in tomorrow with temps and comfort

I'll try a 0* sleeping bag tonight and report in the morning how it went and what outside temp was.

OK, thanks for clearing the air. I didn't realize that. I was thinking I needed a bare minimum of 11' tarp. That clears the air a lot. Thank you.

You can get away with fewer stakes if they are placed well.

I'm mainly going for the SF because I can get it in 70d(supposedly stronger) and in multicam, for less than I could get the OMW in standard colors with 30d material
