thats what i said they dont work as well in asym.i just did not mention the asym hammocks,which are warbonnet and hennessey.i dont like asym hammock,they are not comfortable to me:cool:neo

yes you need a pad,pad work great in double bottom non asym hammocks
like the claytor and dd hammocks,they dont stay in place as well in asym hammocks:shades:neo
