Here's a question for ya'll: Is there a rough conversion between tree diameter and necessary strap length + MSH? It would be nice to have a conversion that I could do in my head when estimating...
Is dynaglide pretty much exclusively provided in bright colors? Or are there suppliers who have something a little less conspicuous?
I guess my next question is: What are the lightest straps per foot a guy can get?
Hmmm, methinks its time for some extensions. I think I'll try for a setup similar to the one pictured above, just with an amsteel or dynaglide extension attached to the webbing on the pictured right....
Thanks for the visual!! - but I'm trying to avoid using clips. UL compromise here. I'd get more versatility out of extra cordage than a DC.

I've actually tested a paracord extension before with my stock HH suspension set up. Worked fine each time, 3 times total. I would not recommend doing this on a regular basis for a number of reasons....
So I was out this last weekend and was in an area with a large amount of fatty trees. Most were too big for my 70" tree straps, but I did manage to find a set that would work.
I'm running whoopies...
