I've got python straps for my DN but I just picked up a SN as well. I'll probably check out the Atlas straps for that once they hit the stores..
I'm glad I found this site before I bought my DN. I bought Python Straps instead.
Very cool! The Harpeth runs through our neighborhood. Looks like a fun trip.
Wish I could make this, but I have to work that weekend. Hope you have a great time!
Welcome from middle TN!
Welcome from Franklin, TN!
my19, you may also want to swap out the carabiners. The ones that come on the DN are heavy. Get a climbing grade wiregate 'biner and it'll be much lighter.
Just watched all your AT videos. Great job! Good luck on the remainder of your hike and thanks for sharing with us.
Hey, Naturalist! I live in Franklin as well. Just getting into hanging. Where do you go around here? I have a new ENO DN that I need to practice setting up..
Pips, I saved a bunch. I don't have the tags, but the doublenest was marked down to under $20 because of the "tear" that I can't find. The Profly was thirty something. Even if the doublenest is...
Got an ENO Doublenest and a Profly at my local REI Scratch and Dent sale this morning. Profly had been used, but has no defects. The tag on the Doublenest said it has a tear, but I can't find it. ...
Greetings from Music City!
trying to get in just before the drawing...
This is exactly what I was thinking. It's a double so, even if it's a pyramid, there should be plenty of room.
Yeah, it's brand new, never been used. Some friends were going to give it to Goodwill but then, knowing I like to camp, asked if I'd like it. Of course!
I was just given one of these http://www.seatosummit.com/products/display/89. I'm thinking I might be able to rig a way to use this with a hammock. (Haven't purchased my hammock yet.) Curious if...
Wow! Great video! We had hail like that here in the Nashville area too, but I wasn't out in it. Glad you made it out safely...
I see that ENO is now offering their hammocks treated with insect shield. Wondering if anyone here has field tested them. I imagine it would just be easier (and less expensive) to treat one at...
Welcome from another TN newbie here. Lots to learn, isn't there? Congrats on your new hammock!
Let's assume that I'm about to buy an ENO doublenest. I don't want to change the rope/carabiner to a whoopie sling. (I don't want to void the warranty.) If I go with tree hugger straps, what's the...
Hi! I'm a new member from the Nashville area (Franklin to be exact). I haven't bought a hammock yet, but I hope to in the next month or so. Probably will buy an ENO. Was going to buy SlapStraps,...
