tableclothfactory.com (90 x 132 Crinkle Taffeta) and 320. No problems
Yellow, thanks
Rule Three - never hang higher than your willing to fall
If you like wide, try a tablecloth DIY verison. 90"x132"
Maybe a DIY tablecloth unit? 90x132 makes a very nice hang.

Just what we need, more gov't help in our lives.
Happy Birthday Dutch. Hope it's a special one.
nothing nylon for rope/webbing.
Do both. A DIY hammock ( may I suggest a tablecloth unit for starters ) w/DIY suspension and a blinged out Dutch rig.
144" x .083 = 119.5", is a good starting point
No, the loops he's referring to go though the channels at the ends of the hammock. It's what connects the hammock to the suspension.
Hexon 2.4, nice feel, low stretch, #300 no problem.
Mule tape is excellence when using the marlin spike hitch arrangement
+1 on the taffeta 132x90 for lounging. For out in public, Dutch's Hexon 2.4
This should help with the angle( it should be appr 30*), distance between trees, height of tree straps etc. For the ridgeline measurement, it's 83% of your hammock's fabric's length. You might want...
He wasn't monkeying around, looks like he even had the 30* angle right.
A big boy DIY hammock "132x90".

I've only been into hammocks for about a yr. now but I ,as I'm sure others here, would disagree with that statement. Good luck on your endeavor, it's a for a good cause, I just don't believe it's the...
Sorry to be a "Debbie Downer"
Shug's videos have given me the desire to get back to the "piney" woods after a lot of years of not being there. Thank you Sean.
Nope, same here
+1 that the OP has a legitimate question. If something is advertised as x by x than I would expect x by x. If it's not x by x I'm ok with that as long as I know that when I order. Sometimes an inch...
PM sent ......
Dutchware:
http://www.dutchwaregear.com/11-ft.-double-layer-netless-hammocks.html rated #500 = $70.00
I believe his single layer Hexon 2.4 is rated to #400
Hot diggidy dog, got my Shug bling in the mail today. It's Whooooo Buddy time.
"I didn't start before you" but I've got more Dutchware which means I'm the coolest.
By changing the ridgeline every time you set up, your always changing the sag angle of the hammock, which should be the same regardless of the distance between trees. Tension on the ridgeline is...

Order placed. Now I can be part of the Shug Nation
Based on your goal for this thread, I'd say you hit a homer. Nice looking toggles too.
Had nothing to do with my sex life, was agreeing with your point. Seems to have been a mistake.
Took me a while to convince the wife that she would be warmer in bed with less clothes on not more. She now agrees.
Very nice
Should be middle of the week, also putting together a matching Costco single layer two tone TQ with footbox.
Sounds like a lot of work to harvest some down.
Just finishing up a dbl layer Costco UQ. 50x70 two tone. I'll post pics once I get the suspension done. (waiting on parts )
Polar Pipe straw - Marathon station

A tip of the hat to everyone who made this hang a great success and for allowing me to be a part of it.
Thanks for the #
Does anyone have a model # or SKU # for the throw everyone is modding?
+1 on anything from Dutch. His 11' Hexon 2.4 single layer is very nice will handle your weight and cost is minimal, but you still will need suspension and bug net so you'll end up in the $100 range....
DIY tablecloth 132"x90". Love the extra width.
