Withdrawn.
Is this place is full of flakes? Definitely not the hammock forums of a few years ago. I will go back to throwing things away rather than deal with this.
Ok i will send PayPal info and ship USPS priority on Monday
Well work has me out of town the rest of the week, so if it sells before I leave in the morning it will go out tomorrow the 15th otherwise it will be shipped on Monday the 20th thanks for looking.
It did not make the photo, but the storage bag is included as well. Both the windscreen and its base are there too though it is a little hard to tell as they are stacked in the photo. It is a great...
Used stove with service kit, and 3 30oz fuel bottles, Bought a few years ago for winter camping, and motorcycle camping. Sold the motorcycle, and rarely camp in the snow, so it is going $100 shipped...
I will take one of each color as well. Let me know where to send payment.
I do set it up once. just the stand and connectors no hammock.
Edit: offer retracted
Thanks for the quick reply to the PM.
I use mine when trees are not available, used it several nights last year in the dessert on a cross country ride with a sleeping pad and top quilt while the hammock sat alone in the pannier on my...
I could do a 3 day possibly depending on when.
Silvrsurfr covered it pretty well on weight vs coverage. I have the ultralight, but I use a large strike that huge tarp with it. Either a WL old man winter, or AHE hard rock winter tarp both 144 inch...
I still tent camp, and I also hammock camp and enjoy both. I will say hammock camping is my preference but there are places I go hanging is not an option. with hammock camping the tarp is the true...
Permethrin is an insecticide, not an insect repellant. While bugs may have some aversion to the permethrin it is not a very good repellent, but it will kill any that contact it. A good repellant...
Why would it matter?
Here is my I'll take it per forum rules. Thank you.
Pm sent for shipping quote. Interested pending total price.
I will take it.
I dont think it will pack very small.
If you think the quilts work good on the ground you should try the Hard Rock winter tarp on the ground!!!! It is a...
So much for the for sale rules I guess lol
I haven't had to yet, but my plan is to turn the tarp 90* and use the center tie outs to attach the ridge line. that would gain me 2 feet I have a 12' ridge, and 5' walls. One of the many reasons for...
if you are car camping bring everything you have, and enjoy the tinkering!!!!!!!!!!!!
aside from that what are our choices, what do you have available to you?
Or do you want our setups for those...
I have a 144", and it is a great tarp.
My personal favorite is the Arrowhead Equipment Hard Rock winter tarp in the 12 foot length. It is not cuben, and it is not cheap, but it is one fantastic tarp. I have it and an OMW the OMW is my...
Yes, I "hank" the lines and leave them attached to my fly. By hank I wrap the line around my thumb and pinky in a figure 8 pattern then make a few wraps around where the line crosses its self.
As Nacra said don't fold it at all grab a hand full of tarp ad stuff it in the sack and repeat, it will go in that way I have an OMW and it is the only way I put it away.
does that mean you will take $30 for the bear vault?
If so I will take it.
I can hardly wait for this, is it time yet??????
I am curious why you are putting together a setup that every one else is picking the colors, most of whom will likely never see it in person? No judgement here just curious.
you can't really see the hammock color with a tarp and under quilt in use. that said I vote brown
Looks like I will miss you by a couple of weeks.
I highly recommend a Where's Waldo book
Makes me want to go back to school
I started with a HH too. I "upgraded" to a WBBB, I then upgraded back to a HH lol, I am glad I tried a wb( or 3) but in the end the HH has been the best for me. Not that I am done searching, that is...
Far from the cheapest option, a Gransfors Bruks mini belt hatchet. It servs many purposes and is a fine piece of gear here is a link http://www.amazon.com/Gransfors-Bruks-Mini-Hatchet/dp/B000WGVH04

There are lots of hammocks with bugnets built in try them all find the one YOU like best.
I made a similar decision late last year. I went as far as putting the warbonnet suspension on the HH lol.
Awesome advice!!!
Get a molly mac gearbox, they are great!!!! here is a link http://www.mollymacpack.com/box.html
When are you going to be there? I have a lot of Kayaking and hanging planned from the end of May to mid June.
I could do a car camp around Mc Kenzie bridge area.
I agree separate bug nets suck, and the winter I use my net out of habit. my solution was a 2QZQ mod4.
Buy them both and feel the one you dont like. I started with a HH tried a couple of WB went back to a HH. I will say you can ask this question and research this forum, but the only way you will truly...
Under quilt you can use lots of things for a top quilt.
plus one on the pad and poles smaller and lighter than the tent
It depends on your definition of doable. You will find many treeless places before you get to Canada. My solution is to use my tarp as a shelter when needed. I ditched the hiking poles and modified a...
When I hang mine at home I use whoopies which the fixed loop larks headed to the hammock, and the adjustable end on my anchors. I get an adjustable suspension and no hardware like you want. I have...
Great pics welcome to the forums.
This is great advise, I would add don't be afraid to try gear out too. The most popular gear is popular for a reason, but it is not the only gear out there for a reason too. It works for a lot of...
