Looks good. Just don’t drop it on the ground, it’d blend right in!

Love my Superfly but that minifly tempts me every time I look at it.
My MacCat Standard is going on seven years and is still my preferred tarp. It is the only tarp I have ever sheltered under during a hail storm. Good luck on whatever comes next Brian.
This one has some pdfs with measurements and plans

Here is an example of a completed one

Ha! A fabric bag with strings on the ends? Sounds like a perfect cat hammock! These look super handy and very versatile.
That autumn orange looks good. Thanks for posting a picture!
Nice! You have to be careful with kids and hammocks. If I set up a hammock, my oldest jumps in before I can. Only way that I get in first is if they are asleep. Looks great!
Ha! I was back home in MN over the weekend for a funeral and came across this while channel surfing. Made my brother and parents watch it and they thought that it was great. It was fun seeing you on...
Nah, that was a good one Dutch!
Those look awesome!
Dutch service to the rescue! If he did the repair with a Waldo print you’d have a nice campsite game built in.
Sometimes people don't understand stuff that doesn't come from Amazon. Like others, I am very specific about what I like and don't like. If people ask for ideas, I'm specific and usually send links....
Probably because you forgot the under quilt and she is concerned that you'll be cold. Order a Lynx and the look will go away.
OneClick, that's awesome! What size did you go with?
Or a hair print.. or a bald head print.. these hats look awesome! Glad they are going to be back on the site soon.
I have never owned or used a Phoenix, or any partial length underquilt. However, before I switched to an underquilt, I used a partial length pad. The worst part was that my feet were always cold....
Ha! I'm sitting in DTW right now waiting for the flight up to CIU. Laughed out loud, got some weird looks.
This
Tarp first if it is raining, otherwise hammock first.
Nice! Post some pictures when you get them done!
Sounds like they're reviewing it. Found this on the website:
"BBB assigns ratings from A+ (highest) to F (lowest). In some cases, BBB will not rate the business (indicated by an NR, or "No...
Nice! That first picture is great!
I think he was probably blue because he didn't get enough Vitamin D. I can't imagine that that helmet let in much (if any) natural sunlight.
Yeah I saw that they now have sparrows... tempting. Congrats on the "spare-o"!
Michigandave, that is awesome! Wouldn't want to backpack with it, but for car camping or canoeing that thing looks great!
Woodsteach, post some pictures when it's done. It sounds like a great option for visitors!
Hi Husqvarna, here is a link to the description of the XLC outlining the differences on the Warbonnet site

Ha! That's awesome. I saw the rating and just figured they gave a D+ for Dutch Plus! Only logical explanation. Hope the flood of positive reviews gets the rating back to where it should be.
Hammock Gear Incubator and Burrow here. They are the only quilts I own and don't feel the need to try others. I would feel confident buying from any of the vendors here as they all seem to make an...
hutzelbein I look forward to the pics of your BB XL!
Beetle buckles are awesome, and while I haven't used mine with 1/8th, they will work.

I was curious so I went and checked. YKK on mine. Bought it around 2012 I believe. Never had any issues with them.
Went to the BWCA on my first family trip when I was 3. Most of my camping memories growing up are of being soaked on portages and drying out at camp listening to my dad read to us. I've been lucky...
60s in the basement at home. I use my 20° UQ and just a light blanket on top. 20° is overkill for sure, but it is what I have and it works. I do have a CDT that I am going to make into an UQ for...
I've used my Incubator on an ENO before with no issues (besides the hammock being too short and not nearly as comfortable as my WBBB).
That's a good looking quilt. 50s will probably feel amazing after being 100°!
He was probably just giving everyone's bank accounts a break.
No overfill on my UQ. 1 oz overfill on my TQ. Both HG. I have never wished that I had overfill in my UQ.
This. They are such a popular option (with good reason) that I would be surprised to attend a group hang of any reasonable size without at least one person having one. Hammock people are (usually)...
Congrats on 3 years George! Great looking tarp.
My only TQ is a standard width Burrow. I mostly use it for the hammock, with occasional nights on the ground. I have never felt the need to sell it and replace it with a wide version.
People try to pet bears?! That for sure wouldn't end well.
I'm ready for colder weather. Last night it was 79 degrees at about 10 o'clock. We are in the upper peninsula visiting my in laws (no air conditioning at the cabin). I offered to sleep outside as I...
The few comments that I have seen tend to compare it to blaze orange. That being said, you could order an OutdoorINK color map for the Pantone colors and know that you're getting a close match.

Justin thanks for sharing that with us. The sparrow is on my short list for the next hammock and it's good to know that you find the gear sling useful as I've been looking at that too. That printed...
I have a TD stand and I like it. It was very cost effective. With the tripod legs and the ridge pole it is not very compact when storing. If I were looking at buying a stand I would look hard at the...
Lived in Colorado Springs for 10 years. It's probably for the best that I didn't know you could just swing by the shop and buy stuff.. all of my camping trips would have become much more expensive!
If they are intended for longer trips, the calendared fabric makes sense as it would help you keep track of how long you've been on the trail. Though most people probably have a calendar on their...
When I first started using whoopie hooks I had 4 foot huggers (straps). They were long enough most of the time however there were occasions where I had to pass on ideal spots because the trees were...
