I'll take the 13 x 11
I'm right at 6' and have had no problems with the HH Expedition A-sym.

The Clark NX 200 will fit folks up to 7' tall and is due to ship early May. It's available for pre-order on their site: http://www.junglehammock.com
I've never tried hangin' over a buried fire pit, but one way to capture heat is to take a pair of leather gloves and place some heated rocks from the fire pit under the hammock. One note that may...
Frontload washer works well. Then I hang dry.
The sculpture for the Arboretum looks awesome! I can't wait to see it on site. The Arboretum is less than 5 mins from my house. From one Clark owner to another congrats on your purchase!
Welcome to the forum! Check out Clark hammocks at http://www.junglehammock.com. They have one of the best products out there and it meets most of your needs.
When I was using a HH I used the stock tarp. It is OK. I spent some nights in some adverse weather conditions and did get minimal spray around the head and around my feet. The stock tarp offers...
I use the MSR cord tensioners and reflective guy line on my set up. Makes setting up a breeze and you can tension the lines quickly if the weather turns while stargazing.

The clark will handle that amount of weight, but probably would not be the most comfortable due to it's width.
A larger rainfly with the HH is a must if you're going to be out in any bad weather.
Used my HH for 5yrs the wife uses it now when she goes w/ me. Good product-I know you'll be happy with it. Congratulations on your first hammock purchase.
Thanks for the help everyone!! I appreciate the info.
The clark is comfortable w/out the pad (temp not being the issue). But the pad I use makes the hammock more comfortable. I too have read the threads where people have complained about pads bunching...
Thanks for the info on the slap straps. Is there a good source for the webbing buckle system or is that more of DIY project?
Is the ENO slap strap system worth the extra weight/cost or is there a better system out there? Right now I'm just using 5mm rope on my NA and I'm curious if it would be better to go with a strap...
I use my Mountain Hardwear Superlite Pad all year. I enjoy the comfort of having a pad in the Clark NA with me. I've never really noticed any condensation issues from sleeping this way. The pad...
Awesome video! Congratulations on a VERY impressive trip!
My wife slides her pad into a coleman fleece sleeping bag and the slides the whole thing into her sleeping bag so there aren't any issues sliding off the pad during the night. She has found this to...
I own a NA, but haven't tried the UL. Clark makes an excellent product, so I'm betting it will perform just as well as the NA.
My dog will sleep in my hammock-great for extra heat in the winter, but it's hard to get comfortable. I prefer to use a pad and small fleece blanket(if its cold) for my dog.
I use a prusik set up like that for my tarp and it works great! Allows for adjustments if needed after setting up my hammock. I also use prusiks to attach the bungees on my clark set up
I've had a Hennessey bottom entry hammock and now I use a side entry Clark. Between the two I've enjoyed the side entry much better than a bottom entry. With side entry you can cook, grab gear,...
I saw a cool post where someone had sewn in a clear piece of plastic in the vapor liner on a clark hammock that would be perfect for stargazing and keep the elements off of a top quilt.
Congrats NEO!
HANGnOUT-The underquilt was noticeably warmer? I too have been using pads and honestly I just found out about underquilts after joining the forum. Since then I have been curious about how much of a...
Thanks! I checked out that site-more good info.
Great Info. Thanks!
Came across this sight the other day. It's a good resource for brushing up on old knots or learning new ones.

I used the XL with no major issues for 2 yrs. I felt that the XL fly was just long enough to cover both ends of the hammock. Side coverage is fine with the XL.
I had been carrying the tarp and...
I sprung for the XL fly and I agree. I too have upgraded to a larger fly (a 10'x12' golite silnylon tarp) and feel like I have more coverage from the elements and pitching options than I did with...
If you are going to be doing any camping in lower temps then I would say yes. It really does help hold in the heat without hardly any condensation issues.
I have a Clark North American and weigh 240 and have had no problems. I believe it is rated to 350.
Gotta go with pads on this one. I have a Mountain Hardwear Ultralight 72 Chair pad and have been comfortable down to low double digits-plus it doubles as camp chair! This is by far my favorite...
The top entry is probably on of the top reasons. Its much easier to stay on top of my pad in winter months. Other things I really like about the Clark is the pockets, being able to sleep with the...
I have a Clark. Haven't been a member very long, but have been hammock camping for 7 yrs. now. I've owned a Clark and a HH, no experinece with any others. I do the majority of my camping in...
I think its a good idea. One of the best things about camping with others is being able to see different set ups and gear choices in the field.
Used a HH Expedition for 4-5 yrs. My wife sleeps in it now. I upgraded to a Clark about 2 yrs ago and really enjoy it compared to the HH, especially when winter hanging.
My wife sleeps in my old HH Expedition when we camp. Guess I'm just lucky after reading most of these posts. She only complains about two things: cold weather and having to use my hand me down...
