Welcome from down the road!!! The Neusiok is a pretty good trail. I've hiked some of it couple times. I'm actually hoping to do a thru hike next month. I've haven't found any other trails in the...
I've got 15 gallons of water and a gallon each of Gatorade, lemonade, apple juice, and sweet tea, along with other added goodies that will only result in an insulin spike.
Attendance and arrival time updated. All will be staying at the campsite.
I'll take it. PM sent.
I have not had any problems. PM inbound.
It's a Hammock Gear. I purchased it in November 2013.
Standard 11' Cuben tarp with doors. No ridgeline or tie outs included. Hung for at least a day after every trip.
It's time for me to change things up a bit, this tarp wasn't really working...
Already hit the sheet!!! I can't freaking wait!!!
I'm going to make sure I'm free that weekend! I've also go some ground dwellers that will be joining me probably.
$115,000!!!
Worried? Maybe not worried. I do try to bring some excitement though.
I think I might have to make this one. I'll have to wait until the time gets closer.
Is it bad that I'm still packing and am planning on leaving at 2:50? Either way, it should put me there around 6 at the latest I hope.
What campsite are we staying at on the Park?
Is there anything that is needed for the food still? Let's be honest...not super creative when it comes to camp cooking.
I've been really out of touch recently!!! I almost missed this. Got signed up, I'll work on the meals tab a little later today hopefully. Can't wait to get out there. The boys are going to be...
Getting the boy child from school now. Hoping to be there around 1630!
I think we're all really excited. Even my boys are going crazy about it.
I'm thinking about doing a rest run with the boys in the back yard this weekend. That might settle me a little I hope.
I kinda wish I was a local, until then I guess I'll just have to suffice with my indoor stand.
I've got my two boys coming with me, they're 5 and 7.
I'm all over all of that...almost all...most........alright some if it. But still, I've got it!!!
I really want to say that I hate Dutch sometimes, but I know I can't bring myself to say it. He always seems to come out with newer solutions to my suspension right after I place an order.
I don't know anything about camp cooking, but if someone has a recipe to prepare I can bring the ingredients. I have to do my part somehow.
Can't this weekend. It's Star Wars Birthday party weekend!!
Can't wait!!!
They're calling for quite the snow fall tonight. I'm really hoping it's what they say it will be so I can get some time with my downy head hugger!!!
I'm pretty sure my cuben fiber with doors would do alright.
I can agree with you on that feeling. But there's also a feeling of 'I wish I had moved my stand outside.'
Got mine today!!! That thing is comfortable, even my boys love it. I'm almost thinking that I might have to get some for them next.
So here's my question...a few of us are bringing little people, are they part of the total count? And do they count against the 6 per site count?
At that rate, the work will only last a couple hours!!!
That's just showing off!!!
I'm an engineer by blood, if someone can get me a few pictures, I can build what they built.
Not to be too crazy...but I'll be damned if I let some boy scouts outbuild me!!!
And just as a forewarning, there may or may not be a chance that I might drive everyone like mules. :D
This is awesome!!! I really can't wait to get my head swathed in that downy goodness!!!
I find myself getting very excited about this. This week can't seem to pass fast enough.
Placed my order...figured I would go with some Green and Tan.
Can't wait to feel the toasty warmth on my grape!!!
Give in!!! You know you want too...
My only problem is I have no idea what color(s) I want.
Got an email today about UGQ Down Skully on Massdrop, I didn't realize I needed one until I got this email.
Click it, buy it.
Or we just have her be it and not tell her, so as she goes about doing things, she's being our adorable little mascot.
That doesn't sound like fun...
I don't know...I think when "whoopie" gets added it becomes more entertaining. Kinda puts an innuendo spin on it.
On second thought...maybe "Dangling" and "Hangers" aren't the two best words to put together.
We could always just make up a mascot, like VT. The Dangling Woopies!!!
I'm not a boat guy, but I am all about doing some hangs. I'm really not familiar with the area, but would it be possible to hike the areas and meet up with the river folk when they make camp?
I don't have a lot, but I might be able to get my hands on some stuff. I will see if I can borrow a couple water jerry cans from work, that should help with the movement of water. I've also got a...
I can handle the physical fitness part!!
As awesome as that would be, I don't know how well it would work from the kid's perspective, but who knows.
I guess that makes sense for all the sites then.
Just a thought though, do children count as full people or half people?
Nice! I'll have to look into those.
I think I'm planning on doing that for the boys. Thinking about doing some table cloth hammocks for them, see how they like it. They would get stacked with a back up tent. Good times.
