Great to meet you.
I have updated my suspension since the video with some homemade woopie slings, so I do get better adjustment now. I did raise my feet last night and it did seam to help.
Thanks again to all the HF...
I lay as diagonal as I can. I will raise my foot end to see if that helps. I don't have a photo handy, but I have a youtube video of me camping and setting it up. http://youtu.be/2mg40P4zpII I hope...
No matter how I hang my hammock or lay I always slide down so my feet are higher than my head. As a result from this I get in a weird arc that kills my back. I am using an ENO Double Nest right now....
Great to meet you. Best of luck with your gear.
I hope we can do more of these soon, I would have loved to gone on this one, but I am under the weather. i have still been hanging in my basement though. I am with y'all in spirit.
I like knives and do reviews on Youtube so MrRazor is my short version of my Youtube MrRazorReviews
I screwed a 2' 2x4 to my wall studs and screwed a hook to it in the upper end of the 2x4. All the weight pulls down and pushes on the 2x4. seams to work well so far.
Well first thanks for the great forums!!!
Now, Hey y'all!!! MrRazor here, new to hanging but not to camping. I have been in the woods for a long time here in the Great Smokey Mts. I am 45 yrs old...
Hi All,
I have been camping most of my life with family, and the Boy Scouts but I have always been a ground camper in a tent. I never slept in a hammock overnight only a small nap in an old rope...
