I know I built it big, but my thought was I could always cut the legs down if they aren't working or got beat up. Also, I wanted to keep span-limiters up high so I could use them as clothes lines, or...

Nope, but funny you should ask. My wife thought it was steel too, and she was lookin right at it. It's good straight 2x2 that I stained with some old old stain I had in the garage. I got it years ago...
Add one more to the mix. Yes, I overbuilt it. Yes, it's bigger than most folks specs that I've picked up, but I've already found a really wide range of flexibility with it. Besides.... I always have...

But, any "bigger folks" using one of these? Anybody up over say... 260 or so? Also, off the top of anyone's head, what's the longest hammock anybody is runnning?
