LOL I have no idea who that hanger is.
Eccles pass from Frisco to Vail has just about everything you want
I've used the Kelty 9 and 12 ft several times in sun, wind, rain, snow, even a hail storm and never had any issues.
I always use site 8. That end has quite a few trees.
I like camping Platte River Campground near Deckers. You wake up on the edge of gold medal waters. If you look it up on Google maps I left a review with several pics
No way. You can see me and my hot pink hammock from space!!!
I'm not sure but I hope so. Start a Colorado Hangout Club
Haven't tried them. However the emails they send out are hilarious to read sometimes. Still not even sure how I got on their list though.
what do you consider near? In the city, within 30 minutes, an hour?
Great advice already given. Bring a camera we have some of the best views in the world. Plan for snow. (Woohoo yellow snow making in June) That also means snow melt water. Refrigerator cold amazing...
I'm heading to Lost Lake by Eldora Tuesday and Wednesday this week to iron out the nuts and bolts of new gear I grabbed over the winter. After that I'm good to go with at least a week notice for...
Looks like we got a nice 5 person team set. 6 if I can convince my cousin to stop sleeping on the ground like a heathen.
welcome from Denver
Looks awesome
Alright thanks. I'll sub you
What's your name on YouTube? It's not letting me click the link from the app
Welcome from Denver, formerly of Chicago. Got family around Aurora and Peoria still.
I must be the odd man here. I only use my USMC poncho liner year-round. If it drops below freezing I'll throw a sleeping pad under me but that's it. I can't sleep unless it's cold.
8 years USMC 98-06
Yeah for sure. The trail carries on further. I just enjoy hanging near waterfalls. It's pretty surreal. If memory serves correct that trail goes about 30 miles.
I'm in the annoying phase of having ordered the Kelty Noah 12 and waiting for it to be delivered. It's been out for delivery since yesterday. Ugh another win for OnTrac. The excited long wait is the...
If you are looking for a short hike, setup and explore, then Alberta Falls is beautiful
My music is the wind in the trees, gargling of the creeks and the crackle of the fire. Most beautiful symphony in the world.
As for drinks at night it's Fireside Vanilla Spice tea. And in the...
I set mine to 83% because that's what Shug said to do. And you can always trust someone who can balance on one foot for a long time while talking with an Irish accent.
Depending on when and where I would be interested
I haven't decided yet. I'm messaged there seller with a few questions. I'm waiting to hear back from him.
I don't mind the 2 lbs. I need something that's durable and cheap. It'll only put my...
Has anyone tried the mongada hammock tarp? It's on sale on Amazon for $50 and I'm considering grabbing one. Looks pretty solid and weather proof. I'm on a tight budget and if the specs listed are...
Even on highly traveled trails, I've never had an issue with theft. People that go into backcountry and longer distant trails tend to have an unspoken code and are very respectful.
Awesome. Do you have a store front? I'm in Denver
I use only my woobie down to 40 degrees. I can not sleep if it's not cold. Plus I love my woobie.
Ah ok cool. Some place down in that area near Crested Butts has a hidden waterfall with a huge crystal clear pool for swimming. Definitely on my list of places to check out. A buddy was telling me ...
Awesome views. Have you tried Eccles pass or anything in Pike National Forest here in Colorado? Those are 2 of my favorites.
