Since the base is 10' I can hang the WBBB as low as it will go and come no where close to hitting my head or feet on the upright support.

That "pink stuff" is actually just a towel wrapped around the uprights to keep the tarp from contacting the uprights. I didn't want the abrasion wear on the tarp and this allows me the tightest seal...
