A better night's sleep, you never will find
Asleep in the air, adrift on the breeze
For a god's slumber, I'm sure this would please
Cozy and snug all...
I could see doing that for a night / maybe 2. A whole thru though WOW True love I guess....
I had too much shoulder squeeze in the Bridge hammock. I've been wanting a Claytor for a long time. I already have a HH Explorer UL and now I've just acquired to Travel Hammock Doubles so the...
ordered a set of double's late monday night and got em in the mail today, Thursday.....That's fast.
Great looking hammocks and can't wait to test em out on the back deck.
Thanks CFO
Ryan
Just ordered a Double. Timing is great since I was in need of a couple of lounging hammocks for the new deck I've almost got completed out back. This was the ticket. Thanks.
I'm 5' 11" and 200 lbs (wide in the shoulders) and found the bridge hammock to be uncomfortable due to shoulder squeeze. YMMV. I'd give one a try and see. I'm pretty sure they have a good return...
sold..........
Sorry everybody for the delay in responding to your P.M.s
Went camping for the weekend and just got back.
I'm going through my P.M.s right now and whoevery emailed me first gets it.

Sold........................Thanks for looking
I'm 5'11" and 200lbs and fairly broad shouldered. I just spent a few hours in my BMBH this afternoon/evening and really don't know if I could get a good nights sleep in it on account of the squeeze....
I've used the roof rack of my wife's SUV with no problems what so ever. I tied on to the edge where the crossbar and the roof rail meet. I was leery at first but it held fine and no ill effects to...
Only problem I could possibly see with tying to the tarp O'Rings is possible water intrusion if the lines are running uphill from your hammock to the tarp. Water running off the tarp and then around...
I plan on making next year. This just wasn't a good time and I really thought it would rain all weekend anyhow. It's shouldn't be but around 3 hours or so for me.
I'm only about 60 miles from the epicenter and felt both the 5.2 primary and 4.5 after shock VERY well. Woke me right up when the first one hit and I'm a pretty heavy sleeper.
I thought the wife...
I like WB for all the other ideas and info not related to hammocks that can be found there.
If you guys think WB is not very friendly. You should go to one of my old haunts.

I'm thinking of painting my next project Jeep, Cattail Brown. It's become one of my favorite colors as of late.
And JRB sent me the Green one with my 3 season setup...I like it too..
I just use clear silicone caulk cut with denatured alcohol till smooth enough to apply a thin penetrating coat. About 60/40 sil/alc works for me. YMMV

I'll be stringing my cat cut tarp up in the garage tomorrow to seam seal it.
I can't wait for a little decent weather here in the midwest so I can actually enjoy a nice weekend in the woods. I...
I'm waiting for the BMW f 800 gs to come out this fall. I'd like to get an R 1200 Gs adventure as well. I've never rode a bike on the road before but have played in the dirt a little bit. I'm...
I guess if you had a bathtub floor it might work.......Waterbed.......:D
I wish I lived back in So Cal. Does that count?
I really the Seirra Nevadas.
6 1/4 lbs seems pretty good to me. Escpecially when you consider the flexibility this setup gives you. Jack and Jack have obviously put in a lot of time and energy to make a product that is as light...
Don't have a scale handy so not entirely sure. I'm not a super gram weenie but I try to buy light just for comforts sake. I'll probably pick one up this weekend and then I can weight my whole setup.
Got my set in the mail yesterday and WOW!!!!
The first thing I noticed when I picked up the box (which contained the 2 quilts, the JRB bridge hammock, the cat cut tarp, the self tensioning lines,...
I just ordered the set over the weekend as well. I've already got a HH Explorer but thought the bridge looks promising. I was on the fence for a while about ordering a quilt from them and this set...
Pulled this up today and saw this. Thought someone might be interested.

Nice report,
I knew I shouldn't have read it. It almost brought tears to my eyes thinking of my beloved Sierra Nevada's. Oh how I miss them soooooooo.
I've been tear gassed and maced while in training back in my military days and let me tell ya, if I even get a slight whif of mace I'm gone. The tear gas is horrible too, both make you choke, burn...
I've thinking of making a pair of these myself, just haven't got around to it yet.
Surface fleet is no better my friend.
I always took the top bunk. No roof on my coffin and nobody stepped on my bed on the way to theirs.
I really appreciate all the replies. You guys rock.
:) Want to know how many of you that have bought underquilts have gone back to using a pad? and if so, why?
A majority of the really experienced hammockers tend to be screaming at the top of their...
Thanks for all the replies guys. Trail days it is.
I think an appropriate hammockers venue title would be "Hung fest".
Wait, That might draw the wrong crowd......
Can anyone tell me what one event is the best to go to in order to see as many vendor displays as possible.
I'm obsessed with finding the best products for me and the only way I can really do that...
I'm not trying to persuade this guy not to, I actually think it would be great to hammock the pct. For those of you who haven't hiked in the area before, it is extremely dusty and any chance to lay...
To be sure, from kennedy meadows on up you'll have plenty of trees. Maybe also down around big bear area. I don't know your resupply strategy though. Might not be worth it to use before Kennedy...
Grizz,
My parents own a cabin down in the Shawnee just outside of Alto Pass. I'll be spending the weekend there with my wife and daughter and my sister and her family as well. I too have been...
Hey guys,
I really wasn't trying to start an anti-HH thread. Not at all.
I've inspected my hammock high and low and cannot find one detail that I believe I could have done better (or anyone for...
Agreed, I much prefer to support Mom and Pop businesses over large scale or big box industries.
HH is one of those that grew out of their own production capabilities I assume. I know that it...

I didn't see this posted anywhere prior to by purchasing this hammock. I just assumed they were made here in the good ole U.S.A....
Bingo, I got it out yesterday and I was determined to cut it up. After staring at it for the better part of a half hour, I realized the exact same thing. I have decided to leave it whole and take it...
OH Yeah,
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.
Happy Hangin. I will be this weekend.
Upon further inspection it is nylon. I'm a Navy vet and was stationed at an airbase out in California where the Navy does all sorts of weapons test as well as parachute testing. One of the PR's...
Hey all,
I'm a new convert to the hammock, I just recently realized that the reason I no longer enjoyed camping was the horrible back ache I always had when I awoke in the morning. So I've got a HH...
I just ordered one 2 days ago to make sure I had it in time for the 4th of July. That's a killer deal for a complete setup.:(
