The width is great. No problem there at all. I am 6' 1" and 230 so I think the width shouldn't be an issue for you. I haven't been able to test the quilt yet (summer in AZ) but I suspect I will get...

I removed all the seems that ran the 70in length, leaving only the 60in seams that ran across the width of the quilt. This left me 14 tubes of down running the width of the quilt. I tossed it in the...
Already converted mine from Gilbert, AZ into an underquilt for my Ridgerunner. 11.3oz in the stuff sack. 68" x 32" rough finished size. Really happy for $20.

Great point. Forgot to list that. It's a Large.
Cuben Hex or Mamajamba?
So our air conditioning went out at our house (in AZ) and I've been forced to reduce the gear closet to the bare minimum to help pay for the HUGE repair bill. My loss, your win. $5 flat shipping for...
Trying to weed through my insane gear pile and get it back to down to a more manageable level.
I have two Warbonnet Hammocks to move out since they haven't been getting enough use.
(SOLD)...
Sounds great.
Just let me know. One last chance the sweeten the deal. I'll also throw in a Starlyte Stove.
The Jam is a blue men's Large. I think it is 3100 cu in. 50 liters.
The scout is a full set up. With the tarp. It's actually never been used in the field. Only set it up once or twice for an...
I'd do my Golite Jam and a Hennessy Scout hammock, actually.
Golite Jam?
I'll take it. PM me with paypal details.
price drop!
US only for the shipping. Sorry.
I'm selling off a piece of history (hey...at least it's a piece of my history). I have one of the original Crowsnet 3/4 20 degree underquilts from when Stormcrow was just getting started out. Great...
I'm thinking about picking up an XLC but I would love to keep using my Hammock Gear Cuben Hex Tarp. The ridge line on the Hex is 10' 10" or 130". Anyone have a measurement on the ridge line length of...
+1 for the Incubator. I only backpack and take it with me on every trip.
Got my 10 titanium stakes last week. Just spray painted them up with fluorescent orange today. Too nice to lose in the undergrowth.
Not for you because you don't sleep well on your stomach or because you don't feel like it is really possible to be comfortable and sleep on your stomach?
Ditto. Curious about this.
I'm looking at the 72" - 20 Degree UQ but I can't find a weight listed on the site. Anyone have a rough idea of what the weight is? The Incubator from Hammock Gear is 22.5 ounces but about 6" longer....
The only thing I see off the bat is that your tarp isn't long enough to cover your hammock. Fine for a clear, nice night but if a rain kicks up, you are going to be in trouble. Try pitching it as a...
I was wondering when we were going to get our next Shug video. Sweet!
Looks like a fun trip. Wish I could make it. One of these times I'll make an AZ hang. Have fun guys.

For sure. Been over three weeks now on one I ordered.
"Yo Dog!" had me laughing over here. Great work on the project. That hammock in your hammock so you can hammock while you hammock looks awesome.
Pumped to be a winner! WHEE!
Just got my two dynaglide adjustable ridgelines and a new set of Amsteel whoopies in the mail. Super fast service and what appears to be a reflectix shipping envelope that I can reuse as a cozy. Love...
SOLD pending funds.
Selling my Cricket Cage Stove from MiniBull Designs. Used it on two trips but my stove addiction has moved it out of the rotation and I'm looking for someone else to use and enjoy it.
Built in...
Those new HG quilts look awesome. Why is your IX UQ so special?
I'm well over the 200 pound limit and have been using Dynaglide Whoopies for quite some time with my GTUL with no problems at all.
Make sure the hike is worth doing. If it is boring, hardcore and ugly, you've already lost. Of course, you are all of those things and she married you so maybe I'm wrong. ;)
Amen, +1, Agreed, Concur.
I have the same one and it works great. Highly recommended.
As someone who owns a couple ENOs and and Traveler (and a Blackbird and a...ect), I can tell you, you made the right choice. I really like my ENOs (single and double) but it isn't "all in one" with...
I got my set on Amazon for $16.50. Amazingly good deal.
Just got a set of 8 of these too. I have a set of six Vargo Titanium Shepherds hooks but on my last trip out I was camped on a sandy bench and those tiny little titanium jobbers just couldn't hold...
Got my brand new Alpine Asym Tarp in the mail yesterday from Paul at Arrowhead. I was in the market for a minimal tarp set up for the almost always sunny Arizona weather and had been eyeing a OES...
Placed my order for an Alpine in light grey this afternoon. Can't wait to check it out!
Welcome aboard and welcome to AZ!

Save $25 by buying the Nano there and save $120 by going with the Spinn tarp from MLD and this ultralight package is supercheap at $215.
Too small for a Warbonnet or other "full size" hammocks but it looks like it would be perfect for a Nano or other short hammock if you were looking to go with an ultralight set up.
Last night I finished up the body of my 3/4(ish) UQ project. Finished size is 45" wide and 58" long with ~1" baffles and 6 oz of down. This is my first real DIY project and I am super proud of it...
I use the same one for summer. I cut it down to make a quilt and it only weighs 13oz. I think I picked it up for like $30 on clearance.
I picked up three years. My subscription ran out just a couple months ago so this is perfect. $10.50 for three years is hard to beat.
Ha! He would have stuck it to you. I was just out there at the end of February and that ranger was a complete no-nonsense kind of guy. My buddy and I talked with him for a while and tried cracking...
I got a Lafuma Extreme 600 synthetic bag about six months ago on clearance for about $30. It weighed 21 oz in the stuff sack when I got it and it is rated for 45 degrees but I would guess the low...
