I believe our issue to be related to the beiner at the end of the ENO Double rather than a rope tied to them to keep the rings locked together.

Do I need a CCF pad with an expected low of 58 degrees? Tried the pad out yesterday for the first time and at this point I am not a big can, lol so if I can go with out I am going commando.

In stead of whipping if I wanted a more finished look on the end would it be possible to sew a section of tubular nylon webbing in the ends and simply pass the support line thru it? Would it hold?
