You could also look for automotive headliner material. It's very similar to the foam of the HHSS. I think it comes in two different thicknesses and is fairly cheap.
Wow! That thing it's sweet.
There is a saturday show actually 3
Shug, is your only day at the Georgia National Fair going to be Oct. 7th.
Nevermind, I found the info on the web site. We go every year, hope to meet you there.

This is what I use I got them on clearance for 3 bucks each and it has the little pouch already on the end.
look in the vendors section under arrowhead equipment. Paul has a thread right now about the sale.
There was also an Ogee for sale for $90. I think it's on the second page.
What if you are using a Mylar space blanket as part of your insulation?
I found this on BPL.

If it can get me down to 40 by it's self than add a liner and I'm a warm sleeper...
Well I received my 2 RAB top bags. They are very well made. Now I have to mod them. I think I'm going to cut the fabric on the back leaving about 6" on each side to act as a draft drape. I believe I...
That was my suggestion in the motto contest. Hey, why didn't I win.
I hung ours very close and he was fine with it. Give him one of those chemlights as a nightlight and ley him know that you are right next to him and talk to him while he's laying there and he should...
Just ordered 2 of these. I searched and finally found a site that had it listed as a 32 degree bag. With the hammockgear being rated at 35 with the same fill I'd say this is as close as you can get...
I don't wanna throw my fishing line in the mainstream.
I have not seen that in the store here in Auburn, Al.
I'm with Hawkeye. They got my 60 bucks and I got a great hat. I have no skills when it comes to sewing.
I fired off a few orders today.
Do you know how to make a small fortune hammocking?
Start with a large fortune.
Welcome from Columbus.
What about the combination of a Dutch biner (to clip to your tarp) and a Dutch tarp flyz (to allow adjustability along the CRL).
I agree with OG. I am in the market for 2 new tarps. I could call hennessy and have 2 on the way but I am waiting for one of our cottage guys to secure the materials to make them. A wait I will...
I'll trade you some of our 110 degree heat indices for just a little of that snow.
If you can make do until October, Hennessy has their annual sale then. I got 2 supershelters last year, cheap. Also they are a camo silnylon.
Thanks for the conversion. I was going to ask you the other day if your name was inspired by Watership Down, but then Tim asked. I can't tell you how many times I read that book.
I am interested in this tarp. Could you ship it to U.S. Also what would 110 Canadian translate to in USD.
To get you by for now, pick up a blue poly tarp at Wal-Mart while you're there. Then when you have time, agonize over getting the "right one" from one of the vendors on here.:D
Looks good. Those 4 ft woopies might be ok, looks like you've got fairly long straps.
Out takes about 14 feet of rope too make a 6 foot whoopie. The finished length will be 6 feet fully extended.
Check cabelas. I got a down best from them last fall for 14 bucks.
BillyBob, have you ever tried a layer or two of IX inside your SS to augment your insulation? I have a SS and have wondered if that would work to increase the temp range.
ETA: 100th post Whooo...
I weighed 4 spare batteries in the bubble pack and I think it was .5 oz.
I will NOT take responsibility for your addiction. (I don't take responsibility for mine.)
I have gotten many ThermaRest stuff sacks on clearance for around 3 or 4 dollars each. They are the small red and orange ones for the prolite pads. They are made of cordura silnylon and weigh .6 or...
I was a little surprised too. Like I said, considering the light output, cost, weight, and safety factor I think for me this is going to be a viable solution. I think this weekend I'll compare it to...
O.K. after the long weekend I have a report. I placed a light in a drawer. After 24 hours I checked it and compared it to a new one. Again at 48 hours. After about 2 and a half days the batteries...
I have some 2.2 yellow zing-it. I may be interested. P.M. me if you're still looking.
I"ve seen those ENO lights and they are cool. Kinda like Christmas. I will be home in about 2 hours and will check on the progress of the burn. I will take a picture of it next to a fresh one as...
Yes, Knotty. I couldn't post a direct link last night cause I was on my phone. I'm doing a burn test on one right now. I put it in my dresser drawer last night at 9 and at 7 this morning it was just...
you should be able to read by it. I'll try that this weekend also.
Tim, yes as a matter of fact, the way I have it configured I glued the light to the to of the jar and these duo project a strong beam directly ahead of the led. If you were to clip it to your...
The web site claims they will burn 48 hours on a set of batteries. But I will do a test burn this weekend when I can be home to supervise out. The kids are out of school and are nosy.
Www.100candles.com look for submersible tea lights. they have about 20 colors to choose from.
Thanks Gargoyle. I'm still interested in 2 Ogee tarps. I'm getting closer.
There was a thread a while back on a DIY candle lantern. Well Gargoyle posted a link to a site that sells LED tea lights. Well, I ordered 10 of them at $1.49 ea. They are submersible, use 2 cr 2032...

Cool. That's what I have (sans zipper:() I think you'll like it. Every time I lay in mine I go to sleep. If you are going to order from Hennessy go with a larger than stock tarp. Something like the...
