I second Raven Rock State Park... Great spot for what you're looking to do....
As far as 3-4 days goes... I guess that depends on the type of mileage you want to cover in a day... But the section from Davenport Gap to Hot Springs, NC is a lot of fun... You'll see Max Patch and...

So I have an old Singer 15-91 clone... It's great for straight stitching, and will fill most of my gear making needs.... However, I also want to try my hand at making hiking pants, backpacks etc......
Do you have any experience with the attachments for the old Singers i.e Zig -Zag, Buttonhole etc.? I know we don't really need them for gear making, but I thought they might be handy to have in some...
I took my hand me down Singer 15 clone down to the local sewing machine repairman to be serviced.. He had a ton of solid used machines for sale for very reasonable... I'm sure this is the case with...
