It works for my size 12 boots!

I am loving this gear sling! I appreciate that it is large enough to keep my down pillow in the bag with my sparrow without having to stuff it in too tightly. It's big enough to put my boots in and...
I would definitely seam seal it. The first time I had my winter dream in a really hard rain, it leaked through the seam pretty badly. After sealing it, I stayed nice and dry.

I'll be ready to put in an order when you open up! I think closing for new orders is a good decision. don't bite off more than you can chew.

I use an 11 foot winter dream with my 11 foot sparrow. I feel like I have more than enough room, and I haven't regretted skipping a 12 footer.

The wait can be tough, but it is worth it!

I love my little goal zero fan! It can run off a battery pack via a USB cable, or a solar panel. There is nothing better than going out on a hot summer day, and setting up your hammock that...
Aww man I missed it! I need to check this forum more often!
I weigh 240, and mine has served me well for several years now. It isn't my only hammock, but it is the lightest I own, and it gets taken out quite a bit!
Welcome! I am down in the other corner, at Arkansas Post. Lots of great places to hang in this state!
I love it! It's pretty darn light. I have no complaints.

I can't say enough about my DH sparrow. It has exceeded all my expectations for sure.

My hammock and tarp have orange accents so I guess I am going to eventually want to replace everything with orange reflect it. There is always a reason to order Dutchware!

Sounds like Dutch!

I just received my DH Sparrow, and my UGQ Winterdream 11' tarp a few weeks ago myself. I totally understand how excited you are about that setup! If it weren't for the mosquitos, I would have been...
I have never used a cuben fiber tarp, but the one thing I couldn't get out of my mind when considering a new winter tarp was the "crinkle" sound that I was afraid it would make. In the end, I went...
I can recommend underground quilts tarps. Great stuff!

They do great work!

I like the pull outs to secure the doors when I am not using them

I have a membrane winterdream from ugq and it's very light. Might want to check them out. Very well made!

I use a small down stuffed pillow from UGQ. When I received it, I thought it was way too small but honestly, it is just about perfect for in the hammock. It is small enough that I can stuff it into...
I received my Winter Dream tarp yesterday, and was very impressed. Its way to hot to give it anything more than a quick hang, but the workmanship is absolutely superb. I ordered mine in the...
My sparrow (order 3767) just arrived, and I couldn't be more pleased with it! I had to hang it up and give it a go even though the heat index is 109 right now. I can't overstate how nice this hammock...
I personally use cinch bugs, but I do sometimes carry a pair of whoppie slings also, just in case i need the extra reach either around some large trees or between trees that are very far apart. I...
I went from an ENO singlenest that I found in a store, to a Butt in a Sling (BIAS) 11' hammock, and the difference was amazing. I later ordered a bug net from BIAS, and I still have absolutely no...
The little Missouri is great! Probably too shallow for floating but there are lots of trails that follow the river.

It looks like you have found a great spot! I agree that an 11' hammock will be a HUGE upgrade for you. The comfort difference will amaze you. I also recommend some better suspension. I personally...
I absolutely love the Albert Pike area of Ouatchita NF. There is nothing better than setting up my hammock on the banks of that cool river and taking a nap on a hot day!
I use a 3/4 length underquilt, and depend of the foot box from my top quilt to keep my feet warm. I ordered my top quilt long, and that combo works for me. I don't usually hang in the winter though.
I really like the Cinch Bugs. They are so easy to adjust. The only thing I miss about my old Dutch Buckles is the nice shock cord loop to secure the tree straps once I took them down. I have not...
That looks great! I am patiently awaiting mine...
I am going to watch this video later. I love the Little Missouri! I also live in Arkansas, and head up to that area every chance I get. Hanging out on the banks of that crystal clear water on a...
There is a lot if good advice in this thread so far. I currently have a Butt in a sling hammock, and it as served me well for the last three years. I have no complaints, but I recently ordered a...
I broke a Dutch clip once, but I know what went wrong. I stretched my hammock between two trees that were too far apart, and did not hang at the proper angle. I knew it wasn't ideal, but I tried it...
Thanks for the great responses. I can see going with the winter dream. im sure I would be happy either way.
I am in the market for a tarp, but I am having a tough time deciding. I had an old ENO superfly, which is completely insufficient for an 11 foot gathered end hammock so I am ready for an upgrade. ...
Thanks for the advice. It is very helpful! This community is great. Sounds like the zipper is a non issue. I think that the 1.6 hyper d xl is the way to go. I have heard some great things about...
I am thinking about buying a new hammock, and the sparrow is looking pretty appealing right now. I do have a few questions that I am hoping to get some advice on before I put in an order however.
...
That is essentially how my set up works. I have an 11' BIAS hammock in a bishop bag. I keep the bug net inside the bag, either covering my hammock or stuffed in the head end of the bag with the...
My first hammock was an ENO single. I still have it hanging in the back yard, but it isn't nearly as comfortable as a longer hammock. I bought an 11' hammock from the Butt in a sling shop off these...
I am seriously considering ordering a set of Cinch bugs. I am pretty sure I just talked myself into it...
I had to give my Girlfriend my old ENO. She uses it in the back yard all the time!
I think my all time favorite hanging spot in Arkansas is near Blanchard Springs Cavern, just underneath the...
Hey NWA guy! I am down here in SEARK, and I also love to hang in my hammock whenever I get a chance! We need to share some favorite spots! I just spend a beautiful day hanging in the Albert Pike...
That is the system I have in my hammock. It works great! It is a very flexible set up.
I got notification that my bug net shipped just over a week after I ordered. Things are picking up it seems. I can't wait!
I got my ww hammock after an agonizing wait of about 4 weeks but it was worth it. I fall asleep in it just about every afternoon after work. Great job!
I ordered one a few weeks ago myself. I am very excited to get out on the trail with my new gear once it arrives!
I received my burrow top quilt last night at the house. I am very pleased with it. I didn't take it outside yet, but I did use it on the couch. It is very comfortable, and well made.
My only...
I ordered one of these bug socks a few weeks ago, and it is a huge improvement over my old ENO bug guardian. Mine is the Noseeum netting, but it is smaller and lighter than the ENO, and much easier...
