Yes you are right, unfortunately I was at max extension, so ordered some new tree huggers and amsteel for some longer whoppie slings. Also the webbing is just flat with no loops.

In my last job I had to drill lots of antler, the smell is some thing els. Also scraping the pulp out of the drill bits is great fun too... :rolleyes:
In deed, I did how ever try to get two sections that were as parallel as possible also the antler I used is very smooth one of the bits had a very slight pearling which would make for a better grip...

Well all did not go to plan, but the new set up was OK but a few thinks to iron out.
Whoopie slings worked great got a fast level set up.
Soft shackle held out (that's the bit I was not shore...
Ok a bit of a cheat as the spot is only a few min walk away, but did need to add cord to the XL tarp and try out the new whoopie slings / soft shackles on the Travel hammock.
