I'll try knock something up at home because I never take a camera when I head off into the wild.

I just do like a marlin spike hitch around the chop stick then plant it in the ground.

I use them along with V stakes for the less stressed lines on my tarp.
No need to worry if you leave one or two behind and you can even eat your noodles with them.
You should give them a try. That bamboo is mighty tough.
