I’m having a hard time understanding what a asym tarp is. I can’t seem to find it on ugq site. I am interested in picking up a second tarp, but need more info please.

Just an update. I have worn the Stash Jacket many many times now and still consider it great. It does have huge pit zips to help breathe. So far it has been completely waterproof.
As far as the...
Kinda figured out that those walls were actually where they had built up the road bed. Pretty cool

Thanks guys. Glad my video helped!
I'm headed out on a 2 night trip in savage gulf next week. Rain is expected. Will be a good test for my thunderfly. I will be sure to report how it goes.
As far as side coverage though....just hang...

Thanks for watching.
Didn't really try using the net as a back rest. My main goal was to just have a comfy seat. But, laying horizontal on the doubled over fabric was very comfortable.
Good point. I will definitely have to watch for any wear caused by the zipper.
Worked like a charm!
Made things way more better

That's a good idea. Never thought of that, but you are right, those mitten hooks can be cantankerous
Camo looks awesome!
I've used the superfly, the mamba jamba and now the thunderfly. All are great....you can't go wrong with any of them.
I would definitely recommend getting silpoly and not silnylon though.
The first spot was 6-8 feet deep.
The second spot was probably about 10 feet.
And yes...it was awfully hot. I won't be back till fall.
Your gonna love it

Great trail description that will definitely be used.
We are looking at doing that loop in the near future. Any advice...clockwise vs counterclockwise? We will make it a 2 night 3 day trip. Suggestions for campsites?
Thanks for the info. Will check it out
I'm looking at heading to Cheaha next week and have been looking at starting at nubbin creek trailhead and heading up to "heaven". Camp there and then hike out the next morning via the chinnabee...
Dadgum...I'm planning on being in sipsey the weekend before the group hang. I've been several places backpacking, but sipsey is my favorite. I love the fall creek falls area...awesome campsite up on...

Handyman here...was a rough night for sure! Was actually just giving Gadget a hard time since he sold me the tarp that leaked all night. Problem has since been solved with a good coating of seam...
