for the amok, did you make your legs/tripods the standard-ish 6' tall, or did you go taller? (10-12' ridge pole?)
this is spot on.
i bought 2 10' top rails (chicago home depot location) and cut them to 4' and 6' sections (alternating the short/long ends on each rail)...so i'd have varying lengths as needed up to 12'. they...
I ordered one from the Groupon deal and it was marked as delivered yesterday, but nothing was actually delivered. Now the fun of tracking it down begins.

@GadgetUK437 that's a brilliant idea for the side channels...i wish i had thought of it before using the grosgrain channels.
@carbon that's what i did...instead of purchasing down separately i...
I used 1.5" grosgrain along the sides and folded over the ends of the quilt for the end channels

to clarify, the lengths suggested above are for a single length of shock cord to be looped through the side channels of the UQ?
