MY DIY is limited to making skins and some IX weather shields - so far. Need a different "gear maker" if I'm going to step up my game, as well as lots of practice. I'm thinking the tarp is the one...
Sounds like a good idea to me. Run a non-structural ridge line to suspend it and cinch the ends with drawcord? Could be workable.

Not sure yet. I think I better look around for a while. The secret storage area is beginning to bulge a little. Might look at something from Tree to Tree. Kind of like their hammocks.
