I am about your same exact size and i love my ridgerunner.
I can sleep in any position but i mostly sleep 3/4 on my stomach ...
I think you will really enjoy the RR!
I guess i'm using the terms exactly the same way i would when talking about canoes or kayaks too......

I love the RR using my exped downmat 9 dlx.... with the mat fully inflated it really spreads out and flattens the lay ... I'm short but have wide shoulders and shoulder sqeeze has been a problem for...
I have used my kelty 12x12 with no problems..... i can close off the ends pretty good using spring clips and with the side tie outs there is plenty of room for the hammock without the spreader bars...
got my first hang for 5 nights last week and the RR performed flawlessly. Took a bit of trial and error to get it just right but well worth the little time it took. I used an exped downmat 9xl...
I have found the RR to only be a bit tippy feeling if you are sitting up in it but its a lot like a canoe... it feels tippy right on center but stabilizes right off center. I rolled all over in it...
do you think a 26" inch wide downmat 9 will fit between the layers ?
I got one of the first one that Backcountry edge recieved..... I'm only 5'8" tall and i used the large exped downmat in the sleeve.
i couldnt stretch out without my feet pushing against the bug...
i'm up for a ride n hang .....
