You are right. Big Agnes does not put insulation on the bottom, just a thin piece of material to wrap around. Usually a top quilt is not as wide as some sleeping bags so it can leave parts exposed....

Just checked my scale. It is almost spot on to the gram. It does show weight just a miniscule heavy. So my UQ is even lighter than what I posted earlier.

spend the extra 30 for the full length. it wont be too hot. All you have to do is loosen it a bit.
