You should be able to fish any of the river waters in the Valley with an ultra light setup.

I wouldn't see the weight limit of the Atlas straps as a problem. 400 Lbs total combined capacity.
I've only used my Atlas straps a couple of times as I'm a hammock newbie myself but they work...
I use them to carry sugar and salt when car camping.
Awesome idea using them for fuel though. I'll have to remember that.
