These quilts stored hanging, uncompressed,...
HG 0* Phoenix UQ standard in all respects. This quilt is a couple years old(purchased for wife), but only used one time! Black outside green inside. $200
HG 20* Burrow Top Quilt standard length...
Can't join ya this time Mule, gotta work too much! Are you takin that new pack for a test drive?
Welcome, it is great to see more Hoosier hangers!
Welcome to the forums, I'm just east of ya in the Kokomo area. I'm sure you will enjoy your trip more in a hammock!
I have had my cuben tarp rigged this way for a couple years now with no problems. I roll tarp to ridgeline, then pull snake skins over, stuff in sack. I also have mitten hooks on pull outs.
Better to follow your guts than to leave them behind.

Post-apocalyptic trailhead :scared:
I'm out on this one, gonna spend time with the family..... Maybe there will be better weather in January :)
I'm still interested, hoping work schedule will cooperate. The weather the last couple days in that area made me wish I was there.
I like it!!!
No mention of the lefty:(
I don't feel right in the standard:rolleyes: most people don't think or care about direction of lay.
Your route would be about 19 miles, you can get a nice map from IN.Gov for about $5 on waterproof paper. I have been trying to find time to thru-hike the Knobstone for a couple years now. Water is...
Careful!! Paint might get ya lost!:scared::D
when you get to the sign downstream is to the right, hard to tell when there's no water;)
I might be able to join ya, sounds like a good time.
Congrats. There are a lot of hammock makers, foreign and domestic, can you tell me what makes your hammocks or hammock company different than the rest?
I am working on coming down Thursday and leave Sat. morning and still make the wedding....we will see how it works out.
I couldn't come up with a good lie quick enough....
I'm not the...
Ugh! My name disappearing is like a punch in the gut!
I will not be able to make this one, my "friend" decided to get hitched on the 26th:(. I hope you guys have a good time free from gubmint harassment!
Mine has no D-ring or logo :(
Ya, I was just gonna claim I don't even know you freaks :) especially Mule..... and that Mancat built the huge fire!
I don't wanna pee on the parade here but there is also a rule limiting group size to ten people or less in the Deam.
We have violated this rule in the past without incident but it bears mentioning. ...
The trail is a hiking only trail no wheeled vehicles or carts allowed.
I'm in!!! Very innovative products!
Wildernesslogics has 850+. You may be able to find lower fill power at a better price but I like the good stuff!
Burrow for me! I own two 20*, one with sewn, and one snap foot box. I also own 20* Incubator and 0* Phoenix from HG, all top quality, so I'm somewhat biased :)
Long drive from Nebraska!
Good to see you can make it, I was wondering where you were. Ready for cooler temps!!!
You gotta keep em' separated!
Like the Dutch Stingers!
If I remember correctly, last year was very wet with lows in the mid to upper thirties! I will be prepared for any temps, it is Indiana :)
Always in need of master fire builder!
Will be good to see ya!
Date makes no difference to me, I will be there either way!
Welcome to the forum, the exact location has not been determined yet but it is usually held just west of you at the Charles Deam Wilderness area. We would love to have ya!
I will be there with Steak! Wouldn't miss a Halloween hang, ready for the cooler weather!
Have you thought about how milkweed down would compare to cattail down? It seems that cattail would be easier to harvest, not sure on fill power and weight comparisons though. I have read that native...
"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!" That Mancat sure knows how to build a fire! Cant wait to do it again.
Good stuff Trail Medic!
Sound to me like the ridgeline was not captured by the whoopie, but it is hard to tell unless you have some pics?
A sticky for sure! Keep on a countin' em Flatline!
Is it certified by NTSB? INDOT? Do you need a permit to carry one?
Are you sure your licensed to operate that crazy contraption in this state?
Yes it was Mule I watched from the hammock..,. Of course!
Maybe he is sending the cuben stuff sack that was promised?
Does anyone know if there are trail maps at the trail head or available somewhere else perhaps?
I didn't make the cut Mule, but I'm sure you will be unfortunate enough to capture photographic evidence of my existence in the wilderness of Indiana in the future :)
Great pics Mule! I especially liked the Iwo Jima shot :)
I was just telling the wife yesterday that I was packing in a ribeye for supper Friday night! Like they say... great stomachs think alike!
You always seem to be in top of the weather/bug conditions 'round these parts Acer:), it will be good to meet ya!
Im looking forward to some good good hangin' weather.
Hey Mule,

When I am with my wife I let her lead and set the pace, it makes her feel better and I always have a nice view:)
Very nice, is the flag 2 sided(same on both sides)?
DWR fabric is definitely not waterproof. I used and would recommend silnylon 2nds from diygearsupply
