We got a lot of heavy rain yesterday in and around the Gorge, Rode up both sides with no or little smoke from the fire trails were still closed at Table rock and pinicale, most of the fire was in old...
I got a hennessy hammock as a gift, it is used , it is a bottom entry hammock,black and grey in color, it has no tags,etc on it,just the hennessy hammock and phone number, i'm really more interested...
Mt. Mitchell State Park and the area around it is great, just remember 50 foot off the trail and 100 foot away from water, unless it is a marked campsite, and you can pretty much set up anywheres.
Have not got to the Great Smokeys in awhile, last time was way to crowed,of course the Gorge is getting the same way , been hanging around Mt. Mitchell past few times pretty cool places up there...
I'd be in for one in North Carolina as long that it a a CERTIFICATION class, last one I took was about a week long,around $600 (wilderness first responder) 3year cert. it was state and national...
Hi shug, stummbled across your videos,which lead me to trying a night hanging....I've slept outdoors in tents ,on the ground,etc, but never have I slept like I did in the hammock...
