Yeah ended up getting the braided. I also got a loop turner at hobby lobby but somehow lost it :banghead:
Is there a difference between twisted mason line and braided mason line?
Thanks for all the answers going to go get some mason line and yellow rope later today.
I want to start making splicing and was wondering what cheap rope I could buy at a local home depot that would I could use to practice splicing on the cheap.
The ENO is made from crinkle tafetta.
According to this chart by dream hammocks a 1.1 double layer should be fine. http://www.dream-hammock.com/photos/WeightChart.png
I'm in thank you
Thanks for the help.
How Long is the turtledog stand total I'm interested in hanging in my room that is 10x13
How much for the one suspension only?
How much for the tarp alone
Before I return this hammock what are the advantages of having a smaller hammock other than the most obvious weight.
Oh sorry I posted in the wrong thread the reason I'm returning my hammock again is because the hammock that I got is about ten inches shorter than ENO's specs and 5-6 inches thinner.
Before I return this hammock what are the advantages of having a smaller hammock if any.
EDIT: I accidently posted in the wrong thread please ignore this post.
The length of all of the ENO hammocks are the same.
The length of my hammock is about 108" which is 4" smaller than the ENO specs and that is including the carabiners .
Its too short length wise and too wide width wise to be a single nest. I assure everyone that this is defineitly labeled as a double nest.
It says doublenest on the compression strap
I checked on REI's website for the dimensions because that's where I got the hammock and it is noticeably smaller than the dimensions given for the DoubleNest.
I recently exchanged a Orange/Grey Eno DoubleNest for a Khaki/Black Eno DoubleNest both from REI. My Orange/Grey hammock was longer and wider than the Khaki/Black hammock, but it had a thinner and...
I think I might have found the issue. My new hammock seems to have a thicker fabric. I also noticed while I was stuffing my hammock in the stuff sack I noticed that I was digging my nails around the...
Update: I went to REI yesterday and had no problems returning it. I just told the employee about my situation and he simply exchanged it for me. It seems that there return policy is still extremely...
It us pretty new and I just hope that they will take it. Any specific things I should point out when trying to return it?
I am confused so I have attached some photos of the receipt and the end branding.

I'm confused because I bought it at REI and it does have the ENO logo on the compression strap and on the carabiniers.
@peanuts which one?
The stitching on the stuff sack looks similar but the material looks much more shiny in the last two pictures. How has your hammock been holding up?
Thanks for all the great responses. I will be going to REI later this week and trying to have it exchanged. The conclusion that I have come up with is that while REI was having there 20% sale on the...
I recently bought a ENO Doublenest at REI and I was wondering about the durability of ENO hammocks. I've used my hammock about a half a dozen times in my backyard and have slept overnight in it once....
