Bad news..... maybe I jinxed myself by upping my chances to 90%. I will not be able to make it this time. The job has done me in again........
I'll watch for future gatherings and hope to make...
Put me up to 90%. I've got that Friday off and will know for sure after a project meeting on Monday.
NOTE: All Jungle Hammocks have a sleeve for inserting a foam pad (unless specifically stated otherwise).
Right from the website.....
Won't be long now.........:D:D:D
Mule, PM sent.
Thanks for the report, another place on my list to go to......
Hey Mule, I might have to go try to find that spot this weekend. What do I need permit wise in Indiana? I'm new to hanging and can make HNF quicker than I can make it down to Shawnee here in...
I also took the cinch buckle and used a very short piece of spyderwire to attach it to a carabiner. I use this as an adapter between the straps and any hammock I use.
One support system to try...
I ordered a 30 foot strap from Strapworks. They sewed loops on both ends for a minimal fee. I cut it in half, giving me 2 - 15 foot lengths on each side to use with the cinch buckles.
I'm guessing it's a six hour ride for me, I make Carbondale in 5 or so.
Plenty of trees?????
This forum has cost me plenty.......:D
I've aquired too many hammocks, straps, cords, rings, buckles and tarps in the few short months I've been here. I just picked up my mother-in-laws old sewing...
I'm about 80% on making it.
1 for me too.....
Lot's of choices, thanks for the suggestions.
What type of cord works best for tying out a tarp? Size, material and supplier would be a great help.
Thanks.....
I'm in for firmly for one, possibly a second. Thanks Neo.....
I was in the same boat as Pilgrim. When I got the second one I looked all over the outside for the sleeve pocket. I was almost sure I got the wrong one again and was just about to email Tom about it...
Has been sold.....
I think I like what neo did with removing 1 seat on a two seater for more interior storage.
I was looking at these... http://www.jacksonrec.com/kayaks/daytripper.cfm
Then again I know nothing...
I'm still a "maybe" at this point too. I should know within the next two weeks. I'm also involved in a Colorado elk hunt and those days haven't been confirmed yet.
You know, all this kayak talk...
Just donated...
I found it in ....user CP>misc.>paid subscriptions
Ah yes neo.....how and where?
As a neebie, I've gotten more than $10.00 worth of info off this site.
