Lived in Laramie in the early 80's. Still say a 20mph wind was a calm day.
Try putting a little hook on a broom handle and push your straps up that way before you load the hammock. Watch you don't damage your straps with the hook though. Since your in the yard anyway. Or...

Well I got my stuff sack completed. It turned out real nice, except for the fact the sleeping bag won't fit in it. Haha. I made a miscalculation when I laid my pattern out. Forgot to add 3 1/2 inches...
I'm not really sure about the DWR. It was given to me with the loan of the machine to practice on. Probably coated. One side has the little squares that you can see. The other side is darker and...
I finally got hold of a thread injector and am trying to learn how to use it. I have a piece of coated nylon and am going to make a square bottom stuff sack to try and make a synthetic mummy bag fit...
Thanks for the chance to win, I'm in...!
Pretty well all of the newer safety harnesses for hunting have dynamic fall arrest built in to the straps. They sew them in an accordian style that rips apart to take the shock out of your fall. I...
Very nice. Thanks for the chance and Happy New Year to You and Yours !
I would't worry about waking up to that falling feeling with slack in your rope. I fell out off a treestand several years ago while bowhunting. I would sit on the platform till my butt got tired...
