I made mine with two throws and off set them like your wanting and then I added a ripstop shell. I did not add extra down. Let me know how it works...

I have an insulated one and used it a few weeks ago, in my chameleon hammock with a 0* sleeping bag. It got down to 6* and I stayed nice and warm. My only complaint is it’s hard to get it situated...

I have more hammock gear then anyone I hang with and still always looking into more!

I converted mine to CL so I can use the same straps as the rest of my hammocks. I like it a lot better and it seems to hang better and more comfortable

I have a chameleon and wear a SA summer face mask when I sleep. Yet again it’s down side is your face stays damp but it cut way down on the condensation on my top cover
