-easier to sew (sorter runs)
-MUCH easier to fill with down (dump in entire amount of down Vs weighing each individual chamber)
disadvantages
-harder to lay out and construct (IMO)...

calf cramps can happen anywhere, beds, couches, and yes, hammocks.
causes range from dehydration (my most common cause- lack of drinking enough while hiking) to low potassium and other vitamins.

While I'm sure Joe and Cedar have considered this, the main drawback to cuben is abrasion resistance (at least in the lightweight cuben).
I would guess loaded pack shoulder straps would provide...
