8x10 silnylon tarp. Dry after 2 inches of rain.
8X10 works fine, but I'm going to make a cant 8x12, just to give extra coverage to the high ends of the hammock. If I can figure out how, I'll insert a picture of my hammock, with Hammock Bliss...
try making your own. Buy untreated nylon in the color you want, and follow directions in Ed Speers book. I've done it; bit of work, but it works!
The cheapest I've found is Ed Speer's DIY: make your tarp with untreated $1.00/yard nylon from Walmart, then treat it with a silicon solution made by dissolving clear household silicon in a carrier...
