just got done making and trying out this new strap idea. i was tired of my old bulky heavy straps so i made these. i took 1in webbing. sewed in loops. added a whoopie sling on one end. and a long...
just playin around trying different splices. i havnt tried in a hang yet. just seeeing what other uses i can come up with
i did some thing similar but at the end of a whoopie sling
first attempt at have a whoopie with a nacrabiner end. so far it has help up under tension(me pulling hard on it) gut got to see how it works w hammock

i made a daisy chainn out of amsteel rope and i just hang everything of a tree
doughnutman73 and mygoatiscrazy are down to hang. coming out of indy
another place that would be good would be chevelon canyon lake. there is camping on top of the lake, then its like a mile hike down to the lake it self, with place around to hang.
one of my favorite place to hang in az. is up on the mogollon rim. there are some great spots right on the edge on the rim out looking the tonto valley.
is there a solid date for the hoosier hang? i will take 1 xl large
