Thats exactly why I sleep in a Hammock. I have never slept so sound and relaxed, waking up always refreshed. I too think its a primal cocoon or womb thing.

I remember reading the post with a camper using a One Person Tent Bivvy, from Walmart (Inexpensive) for his Dog(s) to sleep in.

Love these Appalachian Mountains. Group Hangs or even camping with a handful of people is not for me. I carry in what I need, and finding quiet spots up here is no brainer easy.

I too, from back in the earlier days (2010-2011) bought OES tarps. I use a MacCat Deluxe, & MacCat Ultra. Great tarps. I still use them regularly.
