welcome, from an other dutch hanger
estonia is a nice country, i spend 3 months there last winter working for karulas wolf-trail (dogsleed compaigny) in the south
lots of wet lands in the south and lots of mosquitoes in the summer...
great report, it was a nice hang on my birthday :D
special gift....a lot of dear and boars we saw
looking forward on the next hang
dutch biner is lighter indeed, but i like to hang my pack from the biner to, and i don't think the dutch biner is ideal for that

thanks everyone, 23grams its is then
Johan, ill see you in a couple of days
as always, loving your vids. keep it up, your an inspiration to many of us
what is the lightest carbine that you can use to hang your hammock
i now use heavy mammute biners, but looking for a way to lower my pack weight, and i dont like the soft shackles
its super easy, i use snakeskinss voor my diamond rainfly now for 2/3 years
and i just love it
we see each other next weekend, ill bring them along for you
i find a simple string with a quick release sheet bend will work as well and imo is faster and less hassle
i'm just starting the whoopi experience, and its so much lighter than my straps with binners
in short, I'm loving it, not so the soft shackle do, to much hassle
i keep my straps just in case...
