I actually hate writing this post, but I'm selling off my truly wonderful hammock setup. The wife and I are moving on to our boat, and there is just not room for hammock camping gear aboard.

No, it's never been setup or used.

I snatched this up from halfastronomical last week, but it was an impulse buy I should...
I'll take the tarp.
I hammocked all over Italy a couple of years ago. I don't think I ever thoroughly looked into the legality of it, but the general consensus of the locals seemed to be camp where ever you want.
I...
Indeed. Missing from tapatalk.
I have some gray amsteel, PM me your addy.
If Canteen's doesn't work for you, I also have a 20 Burrow with 2oz of overstuff, always stored out flat, snap footbox, I'll throw in a stuff sack, for $215 shipped.
Howdy Readyme! Welcome to the madness. Fellow Seattle hanger here, in Westies. Shoot me a PM, if you'd like to see some hammocks up close.
+1 on Acer's plan. I have a 20 Burrow with snaps and it's certainly more versatile for multi season use. In the winter I add my AHE Flamethrowers Down slippers to the mix and have hung with that...
Nice job Buenos!
Stormcrow, thank you for your insights. I couldn't agree more, but I can't imagine where the line would be drawn.
My OES has pull outs and sometime last summer I tossed my hiking poles over the...
Just bought it! And first review!
I had a wonderful time at the hang. I was a little disappointed to miss Friday, but maybe next year. I was hanging in my DangerBird [still by far my favorite hammock], and a HammockGear 20 deg...
Dibs on the over mits, PM inbound.
Happy Birthday Dutch !!!
I'm in. Excited to see your products.
Medicine man it's all yours. I'm passing.
Which evernew stove is it? Is it the DX Kit or just the 254 burner?
Thank goodness!
I really didn't think that y'all could be headed out to the trailhead with "your down draped across the back seat."
I mentioned to my pal, that I had to grab my HG Burrow [Down top quilt, for those not in the know] and toss it in my pack.
He got offended and said, "Don't compress that all now! You,re not...
I just received my down pillow in Blue M90.
It's wonderful, you are gonna love it.
I run the ridge on CRL, dutch hook on one end, and fly on the other, the tarp is mini-binered to prussiks. I like the option to be able to slide the tarp back and forth a bit and adjust for wind, or...
Doc, so glad that your well on the road to be back! With a "Dutch" bionic back no less.
I feel like it's worth mentioning that Redden has gone out of their way to provide discounts for us, have...
Howdy folks, just wanted to check and see if there is anything I can bring for the group. Anything?
I'll be up Saturday around noon. I'll check the thread before I head out.
Save a couple of...
I've hung from AHE's whoopies at #350. When I ordered up Amsteel from Redden I ordered 1/8, just to make myself fell a little better, but I don't think it was necessary.
A little piece of mind...
Hey mate, I really don't have any idea about my schedule in that time frame yet. As we get closer I may be about to hang a night or 2 over the weekend with you. Often that time of the year is...
PapaSmurf DangerBird
Wilderness Logics Night Owl

I am with Shane, I could never get comfortable in the BlackBird ... But the DangerBird ... mmmm that's a fine hammock.
So I manged to find where the "new posts" moved to, but it seems that all of the date in the threads list have vanished. They were superful helpful to see if a thread was recent or not.
Are...
Howdy Scott,
Welcome to the forum from another Seattle hanger. I think the search that might benefit you is for a "down hammock".
The 2 line ridgeline system may be a bit easier, but I would consider the single line in that you can adjust the position of the tarp over the hammock with out having to keep messing with the lines...
Head to the Na Pali coast on the northern side of Kauai. Some of the hiking is not for the faint of heart, and can get a little techincal in sposts, but it's one of the most wonderful trails on the...
I'm in for 2 please.
A couple. And my PapaSmurf DangerBird us double 1.9.
I certainly don't claim to know anything about what you are doing, but I know that I made this mistake the first time.
Is it possible that the 2nd piece you are pulling through is the short end...
"...it’s just a bunch of people with the same interest as you, and when I go to these hammock group hangs, the one thing you know is no one is bored out there. They’re out in the woods, they love it...
It looks like I am going to have the chance to come out this year! I should be there Saturday, noontime. I'll have my DangerBird too, so if anyone wants to check out the "big-guy" version ... just...

Woodhunter,
