I prefer Zing It or even plain old Mason Line. Make you a survival bracelet out of the paracord, it's just too stretchy to use for anything on a regular basis.

Well in any case you were wise not to buy the ENO Slap Straps. They stretch too because they are made of nylon! Make sure you use polyester straps and you'll be happy. :)
