Hello from Henagar Al. Just a bit down the road. Be careful here. People carry the gear disease and once you get it you cant get enough gear. Speaking of which look at that shiny new...
To be honest not sure yet. Maybe both by the time I am done. lol
I cant count the number of times I got up. Of course the first time I got in I felt like I was a kid on slide going backwards...
Update on the new hang. Got the bugnet installed, underquilt dialed in, and tarp setup. Thing sleeps like a dream but was worried it was just too long for my WB Superfly. It poured on us for both...
163564Think I have the quilt all set. Now for bugnet. This is just as much fun as when I got my first one.
Loving it thus far. Summer camp here I come.
So I have received and begun testing the one I had purchased from you and I might be in love. Just saying. No real learning curve for me and it is very comfortable. Scares my wife to no end to...
Just found this thread after I sent you the email. I should have dove in on the first email....Its all good cause I can be patient..........
I am a Webelos Leader. I have been an ASM, CSM, And everything from Tiger to my present position in the last many years. The last positions were held as my son has moved up through cubs. Since he...
Unless you stress the pull outs a lot you do not even need to seal them. I had no leaks on mine until I added the pole mod. Used it for a year or more with no leaks at all. And only one leak since...
I started with a Blackbird. Loved it but the XLC is so much easier for me. I also love the different ways to use it. Topless is nice but that overcover when it is cold is priceless.
I have been doing it his way for two years now. I do have a small worn spot but have since found that it isnt in the ridge of the tarp but on the excess material on the outside of the seam. ...
I have a superfly for my wbxlc. My son uses an edge for his wbbb. My wife has the largest of the DD tarps for her dd and my daughters skeeter beater in bunk mode. But we have two more hammocks for...
I actually bunk bed hang with every new kid we introduce to the hobby. Just to give them that added bit of security. I use my superfly and my wife's DD tarp to cover them. Just have to use the...
I have had this issue from time to time in both my wbbb and my wbbb xlc. I have found that where I put my weight, read that butt, changes how and where the ridges form. I also get my head as close...
It covers my 11 foot hammock with room to spare. I have actually gotten three hammocks under it with the pole mod.
He did tell me to send it in to see if it was the old style to be fixed but I had a house fire and did not have the time then. Now that I have the time it is camping time for the cubs so I am unable...
Be careful with the box and pin. If too much pressure is put on them the pin will break.
I have now added shock cord to my tarp rings that my stingers then attach to. This has fixed my issue. That and self tensioning lines on the stakes and it is now fairly smooth sailing.
Have had this issue once or twice myself. Usually from the ridge line being too loose due to trees to close together. Place with the strap placement a bit to see if it helps.
Get a hangle from Dutch. http://dutchwaregear.com/hangle-hammock-level.html
Neither. I used Brandon's video method. Just attached to the ends.
I have been using the attack to the end method for the two years I have had my superfly. Recently got the dutch bling for it and when I took the line off the tarp I noticed a small tear at one end. ...
Well played guys. Well played.
If you pull the pull outs tight or use a pole mod that does you will need to do as others above have said and seal them. If you do not do either of those you should have no issue.
One on the camp box, one on the truck, and one more I still gotta find a spot for.
I also ave these two and love both. I have noticed that the new river was easier to dial in but both work great and I now use the Incubator most.
Please note that though I disagree with their day thing it isnt guaranteed unless you pay for next day or second day.
Not had the weather to use mine yet. I too have that same feeling though. But tbh I had the same issue when I started hammocking and I got over it quick once the comfort hit. I figure this will be...
No Camp Jackson is not ready yet. We are headed to Camp Westmoreland for our last week. And yes I work Cub haunted. Bring him on up. I will not be there the first weekend as I will be at Wood...
May I ask was this done prior to shipping any out?
Thanks. Had a house fire so kinda fell out of the loop here. At any rate I have all of my ticket approved and am prepping for weekend 2 next week. Kinda stoked to get back in the woods.
I prefer the original but have no issue with the position of the new one. However I do wish the zipper was a bit heavier duty.
I have both the WBBB and the XLC and much prefer the XLC. The top did give me some issues but so did the net when I first started sleeping in a hammock. As to the footbox there is no issue so long...
Well this Eagle has a patrol that encourages me to sleep in the trees. Look forward to the second weekend and how those trees will sleep. Nice to see that I follow in many footsteps here on the...
Welcome to your new addiction from just over around FortPayne.
Recently went on week one of my woodbadge training. Hello fellow critters. Weather was just about perfect. Little warm at the start but settled out in the end. Thanks to the hammock though all...
Headed out for my wood badge this weekend and praying for cold nights.

Easiest I have used yet and I have used many. Just wrap and clip to itself and adjust to how you want and done.
atm I have an hi of 6. WBBB, WBBB XLC, Walmart Special, Academy Special, Skeeter Beater Pro, and DD Frontline.
The answer is simple and several have hinted at it. Supply and demand. HH and ENO are mass produced. Making them easy to get at just about any time. The vendors here are all long waits and if one...
It only gets better, worse?, from here. Trust me on that.
Welcome from over Fort Payne way. Actually planning on taking the cubs down to Jackson this month for primitive camping. Not sure if you have been since the tornado hit it but it is nothing like...
I have both. Started with the original that my son now uses and moved to the XLC. Extra length is always a bonus in lay except when your anchor points are all too close together. I have yet to...
Yes they are. Took me 6 weeks to get both of my orders.
Might want to look into it.

Love both my WBBB and now my XLC. Great hammocks both and the XLC gives you more room and more net to make it feel more open without losing that bug free zone.
We give one away every year at our son's school for bringing the most box tops the last month of school. We call it the lazy days of summer contest.
And also true. I just didnt want someone to try a non load rope there and find out the hard way that it does take some weight.
I started with paracord and just tied it around each of the black cords at the end of the walmart hammock.
I think he was backing up your point.
I am 6' and 255 and love my xlc. Note I started with a WBBB too and loved it almost as much.
