FWIW when i bought a brand new Superfly ( When you could buy them in the Uk ) I paid less for it than i did in import charges getting my Winter...
One of my Superflys has them done like this. Think it was either 5 or 6mm shock cord.

On my Superfly I already had a piece of shockcord between the panel pulls. When I ordered my Tarp poles from Dutch I also ordered some double ended mitten hooks too.
I tied them a few inches along...
