never used. snagged it at a good price but haven't ever needed to use it. asking $85 shipped.

whats the weight difference between the 4 and 3 season?
i guess my question would be why have a pad and not just a quilt?
i dunno man thats pretty cold, i could see mid 20's maybe.
nice, thats a clark yeah?
wow nice, cool pattern
i recommend the skins, mainly due to bad weather. they saved my butt one time when i went backpacking and it rained, hard, for three days. they take up a bit more room, but not a lot.
is that a year round thing or just certain months?
don't they make a big size hennessy? if they still do thats how id go.
it is a regular, 78x30. weighs 1 lb 13 oz. got it from sierra trading post a few months ago for $130. right now the long is for sale there for $180.
$90 shipped. never used, still has tags, never compressed. just going a different route.
this is 800 goose down 40 degree bag with good loft.
never used. just decided to go to a quilt. looking to get $90 shipped. only catch is i will need to compress it for shipping at this price. if you would like it shipped uncompressed it will be $100...
oh sorry yes, the visp
$115 shipped
bought it but then got a different one from a friend and don't need two. $125 shipped. never compressed or anything, literally still in box it shipped in.
like the title says. show me what you got, nihilist.
i am a complete noob, especially to sewing. is there a place someone can point me to as to how to remove the zipper, etc and sew it back up? i searched and found some discussion about it but i need a...
clark sold. marmot helium down to $250 shipped.
i ordered another hennessy hammock and it came with the cub. its in shipping right now, but i have no use for it, no kids or anything. it comes with snake skins and i was looking to get $70 shipped....
found both a bit cheaper new that previously, so dropping clark down to $350 shipped and helium t0 $270 shipped.
both in very good condition, lightly used a few times. just trying different stuff.
clark flex 180 - $370 shipped
marmot helium - $300 shipped
will knock the price down for colorado peeps...
very nice of you, thanks!
how did you get 35% off i can only get 25%. great find though!
pretty neat idea
just look at the ss design, its easy to replicate cheap. probably would only take a few hours.
i dont think i have ever called off trip. when its pouring and i am wet and cold i regret it but when its all said and done i view it as an "experience".
the problem i have had is finding a good size
sounds pretty easy i will have to give it a look. so what is the total weight of the system now?
I've used the rings before and they work but arent really needed.
i haven't found one as comfortable as a hennessy but everyone has a different taste.
i usually go with some fairly loose long johns and some wool socks. never had any problems
looks interesting
pretty cool but it will only work with certain types of hammocks obviously
i have tried a pad and hated it in my hennessy. couldn't get situated right. haven't tried an under quilt
they work but i had a real problem getting in and out of it personally.
sweet let us know how the cub is.
this is not true, i pack mine with the snakeskin's. takes more work and isn't quite as small but it fits.
how light do you want it? i mean the ultralight backpacker and hyperlight are like two pounds. gonna be tough to get it much under that.
i like their hammocks but sometimes it does take a while to hear back from customer service.
thanks for the review
very nice thanks
i just figure why not? it doesn't hardly weigh anything. if something happened to mine its not a big deal but might as well have it if possible.
interesting...
in my opinion its best to get a hammock that in theory can be used as a bivvy. main reason for this is that it gives you a lot of flexibility incase something happens to your gear or no trees are...
ive just used those neoprene with fleece liner masks and been fine. also, some websites sell fleece stocking hats that have a fleece face cover inside them that swings down. pretty nice.
after tinkering with mine a bit i will probably be looking to sell it. doesn't quite fit my needs. if anyone is interested pm me, i don't have enough posts to list it.
i guess we just back pack differently, i have pretty much the lightest and warmest sleeping bag you can have with 880 goose down, so what i save there i may not with a hammock. also, if the clark is...
alos the flex 180 is only 2/3 of a lb more. that isn't enough to even notice a difference when packing it.
my dog carries her own stuff too but there are two reasons she sleeps in the hammock with me. one, shes is incredibly short haired and gets cold in anything under 50 degrees. two, she is like a space...
i have a hennessy hammock and was considering moving over to a clark for the extra space. can someone who has experience with both give me a run down on the differences? is the lack of insulation...
